I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very relaxing. The bed was especially comfortable, allowing me to get a great night's sleep. I also really liked the newly renovated bathroom, and having the toilet in a separate room was a thoughtful and convenient design. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, offering a wide variety of delicious food with plenty of choices to suit different tastes. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary free-flow drinks available in both the morning and the evening. It was a very generous service and made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel had a wonderful view of the ocean and was generous with the happy hour duration and the variety of drinks and snacks. However the condition of junior suites can be improved with a renovation as carpets were stained and the room had musky smell. I requested for a change in room and refund of difference of room change have not been reflected in my credit card bills since 4 days ago. The timing for closure of dining hours at both breakfast and dinners were also not adhered to. both dining were closed 15 mins before actual verbal and written communicated timing.

1. It was very awkward to keep facing a female staff sitting nearby the entrance of the men’s bath while I was walking toward there after I went through the first door. Why is she there?? I don’t think it’s necessary. 2. I felt extremely embarrassed when a female staff suddenly came into the men’s bath and talked to me (totally naked) reminding the closing time 30 minutes prior. It was unnecessary. If necessary, remind us just 5 minutes prior to the closing time. 3. A female staff started cleaning in the changing room 15 minutes prior to the closing time. Why couldn’t she wait 15 minutes?? 4. The front desk staff made an error in the date of the payment receipt.

As a Premium member, I really felt well taken care of by the hotel. The overall experience was great, and the view from the hotel was beautiful. I used a suite night upgrade, and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The welcome amenities were thoughtfully prepared, with a nice variety of quality local products—thank you for that. Breakfast was good, and the lounge was excellent. I especially liked that they served beer until late at night, while many hotels usually stop much earlier. The onsen was also one of the best parts of the stay.

Nozomi Ikebata: Gratitude for the seamless pre-arrival arrangements. 🍶 The "Hidden Gem" Discovery: Local Sake One specific highlight surprised me: the quality of the local sake selection. Recommendation: The local Wakayama sake "長久" (Chokyu) served here is a masterpiece. The Verdict: Its subtle aroma and incredibly smooth texture make it superior—in my personal opinion—even to the world-famous "獺祭" (Dassai). Note: Finding such a gem here was a delightful bonus. 🍽️ Dining & Atmosphere Dinner Buffet: A must-try featuring Pan-seared Foie Gras and Wagyu Shabu-Shabu. Restaurant Staff: The senior staff members bring a sincere warmth and a calming presence that sets the perfect tone for dining. 🏨 Room & Constructive Feedback Condition: Excellent rooms; the nearby park is perfect for children. 💡 Suggestion for Management (Winter Season): The Corner Rooms offer stunning views, but the extensive glass makes them chilly late at night. The room is spacious and comfortable. However, the toilet is dim and worn out. With the low hotel fees and friendly staff, it should be consider value for money. Unfortunately, the Minabe station for taking the hotel shuttle is a nightmare for old or disabled people. There is no elevator and we have to carry our bags to climb up and down the stairs.
