I had a very enjoyable staycation at Novotel Pontianak. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and unwind. The hotel's location is also convenient, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby.
Breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay. There was a good variety of food, and I especially loved the semur tahu, which quickly became my favorite dish. The facilities were well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming.
Overall, it was a great stay with comfortable accommodations, good facilities, and a pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Pontianak.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
The first night was a little disappointing as we were given a room on the 2nd floor, where we had to walk through a smoky corridor even though we had requested a non-smoking room. Unfortunately, the cigarette smoke still entered our room, and even our clothes ended up smelling of smoke.
I requested to change to a room on the 1st floor, which is non-smoking, and the receptionist promptly helped us with the room change. We were very happy and comfortable with our stay thereafter.
We were also very satisfied with the hotel’s sustainability efforts. We especially appreciated the water dispensers placed at convenient locations, allowing guests to refill the glass bottles provided in the room. It is a simple and practical way to reduce the use and disposal of plastic bottles.
We also really enjoyed the live traditional music during breakfast, as well as the live singing performances at night, which added a very nice atmosphere to the hotel.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we will definitely consider staying here again when we next visit Pontianak for a business trip.

Overall okay except for the water salty. The water heater also not hot. The room was comfortable. Definitely will come and stay here again and hope next stay won't had any haze pollution. The breakfast was the best.

I like the place . I think the hotel is located in good location and entrance area are nice also have a big pool.
The only thing I don’t like is the management. I booked months ago for connecting rooms and I emailed them specifically ask for connecting rooms but they answered is they can’t promise a connecting rooms basically just like try your luck when you check in . Guest what when we check in there is no connecting rooms just two separate rooms which we absolutely don’t want but this is how they manage.
