We arrived for a 3 night stay in Hong Kong. The front office staff were friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. The rooms were exactly as seen in the pictures with extremely comfortable beds and modern amenities. It's location was an easy ride to everywhere in Hong Kong with Sheung Wan station only 8 mins walk away. Would stay here again!

Was book in for 2 nights at the AKI. Looked nice when I made my booking but was impressed beyond my expectations from my arrival. This new building and the minimalist Japanese aesthetic that pervaded the hotel was impressive. I was greeted by Paul, who was warm and engaging and then up to the reception greeted by Chillie and Cristobel. The most delightful and welcoming staff I have encountered in a while. Both so professional and couldn't be more accommodating with my various questions and request. Cristobel gave me many tips and recommendations and was so lovely. A great reception team and all should be congratulated. I was given a corner room that has harbour views which was terrific.The room size was reasonable and well laid out. For me it was more than sufficient, but other might see it slightly small. Loved the room finishes and also the Japanese style toilet. I dined at the restaurant and was very impressed. The decor and open kitchen was great and the food well above average - big appreciation to staff. Henry who served my was very knowledgable and highly personable. Overall greatly impressed and would return in a heartbeat. Big shout out to Paul, Chillie, Cristobel and Henry. They all took exceptional care of me, which was greatly appreciated and very touching.

Smart compact rooms . Clean lines, warm interiors. Great taste. Comfortable sleeping with all the necessary essentials. Not as close to MTR. Next time I would like to book a little bigger room.
