This hotel is noted as a 3-star hotel on google maps, I'd be happy to call this a 4-star. Although lacking in additional amenities like pool and a larger lobby, the unique industrial theming is well done throughout the lobby, dinning and rooms. Staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was nice too with a mix of local cuisine and western. Major downfall would be the location, which felt a bit far away from major touristy things, even with a private car. They did have ample free parking though, which was good.

The room provided for me was good and clean enough for me as a business stay. After being stay here for few years, I would like to raise out the changes that the hotel should consider improving. First is the breakfast, is getting lesser and lesser selection and the food seen more like canteen food than hotel food. The coffee machine for latte and cappuccino also disappears. I hope the hotel will make more improvements when I stay in next time. There is no more welcome gesture for the gold or platinum member in the room anymore, may be the management is trying to cut the cost, but small gesture make us feel more home coming.

Please avoid allocating room 1116 to me next time. It maybe too near to the lift engine room and I could hear the lift operation until late night.

Entering the hotel was genuinely not a pleasant experience as the smokers all smoking in front of the entrance of the hotel. We hear every door bangs when although we requested quiet room. Other than that, we requested twice for a slipper to be given. Bed was comfy. Shower was adequate. Room makeover was nice.

It was just a short stay, just relaxing for about 10 hours in room then checkout for the trip to Kundasang.

Overall stay is good. Room is comfortable. Breakfast variety is not a lot but the food is good. The room lighting can be brighter. Wifi signal in the room can be improve. Located a bit out of town. Foods are within walking distance. There is a seafood restaurant beside the hotel.

The staff at the front desk were really pleasant and the room was comfortable, clean and within easy reach of the fun activities we were getting up to in Kota Kinabalu. The car park was easy to access while slightly off the main road (for the sake of our hire car!)

Great staffs, location, rooms & fantastic simple breakfast for a simple person. But the room I stayed 919 needs the shower temperature check cos it does not really emit our heated water. Mostly cold water coming out. Would be great if can control shower temperature better.
