Our stay in Ibis budget Whitechapel was really great. The service provided to us was great and they made sure we had everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the accessible microwave downstairs. The only reason that this review isn’t a 10, is because the beds are not comfortable and could use some improvement.

Dear Shyana, I sincerely appreciate your thoughtful assessment. Thank you very much, and please know that my team and myself are thrilled to hear that you had a great time during your visit. I am excited to have you back very soon. Kind regards, Alin Corici - Front Office Manager

We were satisfied with our stay. The Hotel and rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly. However, the rooms were very small. We only had two night there, which was fine, but I wouldn’t want to have an extended stay. Otherwise, we were very pleased.

Staff were relatively friendly, but I probably won't book here again. My room was overlooking a brick wall six feet away, was rather small with the bed (though still comfortable enough to move around a little bit). Despite the website saying that the rooms were air conditioned, the controller stated that it was a 'Climate Control Unit, not Air Conditioning' that would only cool if it was hotter than 21°c/heat if it was cooler than x°c outside. Whilst it was much cooler outside than in the room, I wasn't able to keep the window open for long periods of time due to the amount of noise outside. The bed felt close to sleeping on a slab of concrete with a layer of foam on top - very firm. The TV couldn't play BBC One (just got a black screen), and the toilet was squirrelled away in a tiny closet which made it a bit awkward for me to use (given that I've got very long legs). Overall the room (and areas of the hotel at large) just felt very dated and didn't let in much natural light. I also had to pay to check my bag on check out, which felt like a bit of a kick in the face given that every other hotel I've used in London (and across the UK) has included this at no charge. Overall, it was alright and relatively clean and tidy, but I probably won't stay here again.

Dear Thomas G., Thank you for providing us with your valuable feedback. We’re disappointed to hear that a couple of thoughts weren’t exactly to your liking. I truly hope you give us another chance soon, so we can share an even more positive experience. Sincerely, Alin Corici - Front Office Manager.
