The view from the room was really nice and I enjoyed the breakfast. Although, the room 4701 that I was given fell short of my expectation because it was very tight and the restroom door was difficult to open. I was not too pleased with the room especially for a 4-star hotel and the amount. I requested to be given another room but it was not successful. Also, I could hear noise from the other occupants in the next room. I was expecting more for a 4-star.

We checked in close to 8PM, and from there everything went downhill. Our friend who booked on a third party site completed her check-in process in less than 10 mins while line took over 30 mins. The lady who was checking us in seemed a little lost & had to go back many times to get assistance. Eventually Faizal stepped out viably annoyed and assisted with the checkin. He then insisted that my room wasn’t paid and i needed to make payment now and even when i showed him the email the accor app we showed that i had nothing to pay upon checkin he was insistent. i told him im here for 2 nights let me check with the team and my credit card company but he refuse to give me my room. Like all my details and etc are with the hotel, where could i possibly go? Just wanting this experience to end i passed him my card which he then refused to take and told the lady next to him to take it instead, the act was truly disgusting. While all this was going on, my husband was at the carpark where there was countless issues with the 2 gantries and when we asked Fizal to assist he simply diaper the Wilson parking number and told us to speak to them and left us to deal with that situation again. Once the parking was resolved my husband joined us in the lobby when he wanted to know from the front desk staff what was the issue, and when speaking to my husband Faisal’s tone was completely different, no longer dismissive and with annoyance but apologetic. Was the change in tone simply because he was dealing with a man now? There was another incident which i would not have brought up if not for such a terrible checkin process where after we finally made our way to the room he dropped our bags, turned on the DND & left the room. However when we got back there was a general welcome note for us due to our status, however we want to know why someone who enter your room when DND was turned on and no one had answered the door? Our valuables were not kept in the safe hence why the DND was turned on.
