Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was really comfortable. Location is great just outside the ikseon hanok village lots of restaurants and things to see and do.

Very well located, within walking distance of many temples and the main streets of Insadong. The hotel offers spacious rooms with modern facilities, especially noticeable as it has been recently renovated. Everything felt clean, functional, and comfortable. The staff was also excellent—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A great option for both sightseeing and a comfortable stay in Seoul.

The hotel is located in the lovely Insadong District. All staff of the hotel are very professional and helpful, which made my stay really pleasant. The breakfast was good, the room was clean and quiet and the neighborhood was full of coffee shops, restaurants and places to buy souvenirs. The hotel is a 5min walk from Changdeokgung Palace and the Seoul Museum of Korean Folk Music, whereas Buchkon Hanok Village and Gyeongbokgung Palace are about 20-30min walking distance. Myeondong is also easy to reach with a half an hour walk and it's the best place according to me for beauty products shopping as well as the street food market.

A comfortable stay in a reliable chain hotel

The location is hard to beat, right across from the Insadong Hanok Village, but still quiet and not too rowdy. The room itself was functional more than anything, and was a bit smaller than anticipated, but we made it work. The bathroom particularly is quite pokey, but thoroughly modern. Staff exceptionally friendly, and the hot bath downstairs was excellent to relax in after a cold day of sightseeing in winter. It was also difficult to moderate the temperature in the room. It was always very warm, and the AC was somewhat erratic and noisy when trying to cool the room - opening a window was more effective.

Regarding the room temperature, we are sorry to hear that it was difficult to regulate and that this affected your overall comfort. As some guests find the control system unfamiliar, we have placed a simple operating guide on the in-room memo pad to assist with adjusting the temperature; however, we understand it may not always be immediately noticeable. Your feedback highlights the importance of clearer and more proactive guidance, and we will continue refining this to ensure a more intuitive and comfortable experience for our guests. I would have given a rating of 10 because of 3 front desk staff whom we found to be helpful and genuinely friendly. The male staff who checked us in was very friendly. Another was helpful when my 14yo son requested for an adaptor. On the day we checked out, I dropped a glove at the lobby and when i went back to look for it, a female front desk staff noticed it right away and presented it to me (with a warm smile) without waiting for me to ask. It was a good end to our stay which otherwise would have given us a so-so impression because of a male staff who was cold and dismissive. When we were booking a transport to take us to the airport, we asked him for the hotel address and he coldly pointed to the hotel name card on the desk without uttering a word. And when we thanked him, he ignored us and looked the other way! No smile or a semblance of welcome whatsoever. I urge you to review the CCTV so you can do more training on guest service. It only takes 1 bad experience to ruin the otherwise good/excellent work of other staff.
