Very disappointed upgrade room

I have booked 2 nights in the "new" modern rooms. Once I arrived to the hotel, they told me that I was lucky because I will get an upgrade of room. The Junior Suite! I was, whaou... I'm so lucky. Unfortunately, once I get to my Junior Suite, it was so ugly and old. The room smells so bad. The toilet smell urine, The room was not clean. There was some liquid marks on the floor in the dressing. I dont' know where was the upgrade, but to be honest, for the price that we paid for 2 nights and get such bad room, I was really disappointed with such practice. Even our Junior Suite was not in the hotel. It was in another building with his own access. Bad bad bad.

We really enjoyed our stay mostly because of 1 person, Mehdi. He provided us tasty cocktails in the bar, greeted us most mornings for breakfast and, provided the best service for dinner. He has provided us exceptional service and has addressed us by our proper names from the moment we met. Hotel St. George has many excellent staff members but Mehdi has far exceeded all expectations.
