All great, but the air conditioning, which would not cool the room. I am happy it wasn't too hot as it could become unbearable.

EUR320 per night for a room where air-conditioning didn't work....

I booked 3 nights Jun 25-27. In 30 celsius+ weather, the hotel's airconditioning didn't work... wow. I moved out -- I do have praise for the manager who helped us; she did what she could. However, even that first night at EUR 320 should not have been charged, or at least reduced.

I loved the location and the friendlyness, but I was really suffering from lack of Aircon. That made sleeping hard and was a burden for me since I was at an INSEAD executive course and needed to be fresh. I also asked for days to have coffee pads replaced which did only happen when I asked the 3. time

You must park your car in a public garage, then hand carry all luggage through an outside restaurant to enter hotel. The check-in receptionist was very nice. We had room 221. It was dark, musty smelling, and very warm. We opened the draperies to let in some light, and immediately turned on the air conditioning. It was not working. We went down to the receptionist, who told us it wasn’t working in any of the rooms. The rest of the hotel areas were cool. We had hoped our room would cool down in the evening, but it did not. The next morning we asked for a fan, which they brought to our room. It helped a little, but we still had trouble sleeping. Even our small dog slept under the bed, where it must have been more tolerable. Apparently, we weren’t the only people suffering. I overheard one woman complaining that their room was so hot they were going to check out. The receptionist was very kind, and tried to be as professional as she could. The bar was packed (as it was cooler ), and there was only one bartender, so service was very slow. We had been to the bar the first night when it was quieter, and he was very attentive and personable. That night it was busy after a concert at Fontainebleau, so maybe it would have been better to have 2 bartenders on duty. In general the hotel is lovely, and the location across the street is superb. We would love to be able to come back again, but after 2 sleepless nights we are unsure if we will. (The hotel compensated us for 2 days of parking, 2 glasses of wine, and the pet fee, but under the circumstances, for a room that was over 300€ a night that seems insignificant.)

Notre établissement était complet, la mise à propre des chambres se terminait, un oubli de transmission de consignes entre le service des étages et la réception explique le fait que la chambre qui vous avait été attribuée initialement était en cours de nettoyage. Nous en sommes navrés. Notre réceptionniste vous a attribué une nouvelle chambre immédiatement et notre Chef de réception vous a accompagné jusqu’à votre chambre en s’assurant de votre bonne installation. Concernant le linge, notre gouvernante vérifie avec son équipe l’ensemble des pièces livrées par notre partenaire blanchisseur. Si une tâche ou une auréole est détectée sur du linge propre, nous l’éliminons de notre stock. Sachez que notre gouvernante redouble de vigilance lors de ces contrôles qualité. Notre établissement historique est en cœur de ville et ne dispose donc pas de parking souterrain. Nous avons un partenariat avec la ville de Fontainebleau qui nous permet de proposer un forfait parking à nos clients. Le parking du château, sécurisé et aux normes d’accessibilité, se trouve à 50 mètres de l’entrée de l’hôtel. Nous sommes navrés qu’il n’est pas répondu pleinement à vos attentes.
