we loved our room , space was great for 2 kids and 2 adults and bathrooms were lovely and new also kitchen and laundry to . The only thing that was disapointing we stayed for 6 nights and the outdoor pool was out of bounds do to maintance on the grounds and this was one reason i choose Breakfree over another so the kids were dissappointed and also the sliding door in front of the ocean veiw didnt lock due to the age of the windows but we found the wiseling and wind would come through I was a bit scared on windy nights which were every night that the door would fly open .

Amazing customer service, friendly, helpful staff and lucky each time to have well maintained units and spotlessly clean. Beautiful white sheets and bathroom towels with shampoo, conditioner and body lotion supplied. Last stay the unit had been fully renovated and was close to 5 star. Would not stay anywhere else on the Gold Coast. Perfect to catch the tram and walking distance to Cavill Avenue. Thank you for a wonderful stay every time Imperial Surf. We’ll be back in 2025.

Well located - good value for money

The hotel is in an excellent location to transport, shops, restaurants and of course the beach. Apartment building undergoing renovation so restricted access to facilities. Carpets etc are looking a bit worn but for the price quite acceptable. Room was not very sound proof and could hear all communication and cleaning happening on floor. Advantage is access to floor is limited to residents of that floor only. Need to remember to actively lock the door on the way out with button - doesn’t automatically lock as most apartments do. But very reasonable cost for the location.
