Perfectly positioned, so close to everything that Hasting Street has to offer. Accommodation was ok. Nothing to rave about considering how much we paid per night. The Christmas treats on arrival were a nice touch. As a family who has stayed in many big chain apartments, we were baffled that you couldn’t access any streaming services on the TVs. Might be time for SEBEL to get with the times as far as technology goes. Even at cheaper accommodation this is a basic standard. We also had to request extra blankets on the pullout sofa bed. All that was provided was a sheet. Not a bad stay, just not very lux for the price.

Location is A1 Needs a renovation - it’s just dated To charge $700-$1k/night with no service (cleaning & concierge) really made the trip pretty average. The staff at reception do the absolute bare minimum - they lack initiative & leadership. Took 2 days & half a dozen requests to get fresh bottle of soap to the room).

While I am pleased to read that you found our location exceptional, I am genuinely sorry that the overall experience fell so far short of expectations — particularly given the length of your stay and the rate paid. Your comments regarding the condition of the apartment, the perceived lack of value, and most importantly the level of service provided by our team are very concerning. Feeling like a “bother” when requesting basic amenities or service is absolutely not the experience we strive to deliver, and I sincerely apologize to you and your family for how this made you feel throughout your stay. You are quite right to expect warmth, initiative, and leadership from our front office and management teams, especially at premium nightly rates. The delays you experienced in receiving simple items such as soap, along with the lack of proactive housekeeping support, are unacceptable and do not reflect our service standards. I am, however, very pleased to hear your positive comments about the housekeeping team member who assisted you. Her attitude and genuine care are exactly what we want every guest to experience, and your feedback will be shared with her and the wider team as an example of the standard we must consistently uphold. Please be assured that your review has been taken seriously and will be addressed directly with our leadership team, with a strong focus on service culture, accountability, and guest engagement. Perfect location. Beds were super comfy, area is quiet. That’s where the positives stopped. 2 bedroom apartment was ok. Dishwasher didn’t work, knives were all blunt, blinds were all buckled, sliding doors between room broken, glass toilet door wouldn’t close, water pressure randomly drop off sometimes to zero, fire alarm kept randomly chirping (maint kept saying nothing wrong). Place needs some serious general maintenance.
