A relaxing few days stay at Ibis Pattaya, i've been coming to stay at this hotel since as far back as 2008, and I must say the conditions of the rooms, beds, desks and bathroom tiles etc are in pretty much the same original condition as in 2008, even though it's been 15 years.. Also the swimming pool and the surrounding area is spotless and very well maintained.. It's one of the reason(s) I keep coming back. Please keep it up..

Small rooms, but have most of what's needed

Overall the hotel provides a good basic service at a reasonable price. The staff are all nice and always helpful. The rooms are small, as are the bathrooms, but have most of what you need. One thing I didn't like was not having an area with a desk and chair that I could sit at to work on my laptop. Maybe I could have this if had chosen a higher room category. Since the ibis Business Card was downgraded from ALL Gold to ALL Silver it appears that I'm no longer able to enjoy a beer as my welcome drink. I find this surprising as when I stayed at the ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 a few days ago they gave me two beers and a small bowl of complimentary peanuts to go with it! It seems so cheap that a loyalty member can have a soft drink or a cup of coffee but not a beer. Sometimes the small things are what get noticed most.
