Communication could have been better. Directions to room. Car parking in overflow when raining when reserved parks not used.

on arival there was one person on the check in desk. She was attending to one customer and had myself and another lady waiting. The employee checking the first lady in seemed to know the woman she was checking in and they talked about all sorts of things and seemed to be on a go slow. As someone arriving in Auckland to see an orthopedic surgeon for pain I was in discomfort and unimpressed with the efforts of the first employee. Eventually another employee arrived and dealt with the second lady and myself efficiently. I checked into my room and came downstairs by which time the first employee had only just realeased the first customer. I can only hope this employee learns to ask the first customer to step aside (if they wish to talk or are waiting for something) so they can more efficiently deal with less troublesome customers and cause them less inconvenience. I was also surprised to have a parking fee added to my account as I had not been advised of this or perhaps had just not read the booking form closely enough.
