The hotel's location is phenomenal, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that there's a nightclub nearby, and it was noisy until 2am on Friday night into Saturday

AC a bit weak , only at night was noticeable. Well located, the room nice and well arranged. The breakfast was perfect and very tasty.

Overall the stay was very good, strong 8/10. Great location, accessible with our stroller. Crib provided was good with a big duvet. I wish water was replenished by staff daily (no-one explained that we have to go to the water cooler and replenish water ourselves until I called for new water bottle). Last thing we wanted after a busy day to go down with empty bottle and refill it. Elevators are very small and slow. Until 14:00 they are pretty much occupied by cleaners and it makes any trip up or down feel like eternity. Elevators only have one button to be called from the floor and they stop on every floor wether you go up or down.

Our stay at Mercure Chisinau Center Jazz Hotel was great. I celebrated my birthday and my bachelorette weekend and everything was unforgettable.

We had great experiences at this hotel close to centre and nice breakfast.

I can safely say I was surprised by such a low-key attitude in your hotel chain! Upon check-in, everything was fine and welcoming. We were checked in quickly, the security guard opened the garage, and helped us carry our bags to our room. Of course, the hotel's location is very inconvenient, with nowhere to park a car! But ok, we paid for the garage, but frankly, there are very few spaces for a hotel this size. Overall, other than these minor issues, everything was fine upon check-in. The next day, we quickly went down to breakfast since we had an early flight from the airport. And by 7:40, we were already standing at reception with our bags. I repeated to the guy twice that we needed to get to the airport immediately so they could open the garage and we could leave. When he asked about the minibar, I replied that we hadn't eaten or drunk anything! And despite having a card linked to my account and a €50 hold, he wouldn't let us leave until they checked the room! This is a first! After checking, he said everything was fine and left! We waited for about 10 minutes, and after that, I started screaming in the lobby for someone to let us out and open the garage with our car! Honestly, I'm shocked by this attitude in your hotel chain! I'll be looking for other hotels now.

The hotel lacks a designated area for unloading luggage from a car. We had to carry our bags inside ourselves, while the receptionist simply watched us struggle without offering any assistance. I booked a Junior Suite and was given a room on the second floor of the old building. I was quite shocked to discover that there is no elevator in that building. The room description promised a gorgeous city view, but in reality, the window overlooked the windows of the neighboring building. The air conditioning unit was also far too small for the size of the room and was unable to cool the room properly, making it quite uncomfortable. Breakfast was just okay and, in my opinion, not nearly as good as the breakfast at the neighboring Bristol Hotel. The one positive aspect was the manager at reception, who apologized for the inconveniences and offered us a late check-out. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Excellent hotel. Spacious room and super comfortable bed. Excellent wifi. Professional and helpful reception staff. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. The hotel is right in the city center, just steps from the Cathedral.

Dear Mercure Chisinau Team, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a policy I encountered during my recent stay at your hotel, as well as an issue with my refund. I checked in at 19:00 on May 14, 2026, and checked out at 04:00 on May 15, 2026. Upon arrival, I was required to pay a damage deposit of 1,000 MDL. I was informed that if everything was in order, this amount would be refunded within 24 hours. However, the deposit has still not been returned to me. Please check this matter urgently and ensure that my 1,000 MDL deposit is refunded. Furthermore, I would like to share my feedback regarding this practice. Requiring a cash or card deposit for potential damage imposes unnecessary financial inconvenience and waiting times on guests. I have previously stayed at the Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacré-Cœur, where no such deposit for property damage or minibar usage is required. I highly recommend that the management and staff in Chisinau learn from the experience and standards of your colleagues in Paris Montmartre to provide a more welcoming and seamless guest experience. There were a couple of issues with the room, it was very dusty on the surfaces and the floor, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I reported these on checkout (I was only there one night) to the manager, Nicoleta. She was wonderful. Very apologetic and keen to make things right. I was so grateful to her, and because of her I’m rating my stay 10/10!

The hotel itself is well located. The room is modern and nice. However, the staffs and service is not good especially the house keeping. The first night - the towels were missing. Second day - the room were done half way (one bed were done, the other bed were not, floor were not cleaned, towels were all gone), third day we asked if they could do the better job - still, the floor were still not cleaned enough, towels and bathrobes were missing. The second day when we asked the house keeping to come and finish the room… the lady came, flip the blanket on the bed and said OK? So that’s the standard on how she clean the room and make the bed? Moreover, my daughter got bitten by bedbugs 3 nights in a row (the first 2 nights were small bites so we thought it was just mosquito bites but the last night was horrible and it was for sure bedbugs).
