Positive: Mita in Reception was very kind. She always took time to make me feel welcome. Bed and pillows in my room were very comfortable. Negative: The aircon was weak. After a day, I contacted maintenance to check it. When they came to my room to inspect, they found the filter was blocked by dust. The filter was cleaned, but by then, my lungs were suffering from the dust I had already breathed and I became very ill. The mini fridge when I arrived was broken. It was replaced, again, after I called. That the aircon filter was full of dust and the mini fridge broken tells me the management does not enforce periodic checks of appliances in each room to ensure each guest arriving has a room with everything clean and functioning. On the large windows in my room, there were prints on the glass from past guests and you could tell some were small children from their handprints. After 12 days of my stay, those prints still remained. The floor of my room was not swept or mopped, only the bathroom floor. The other negative was the hotel restaurant. I ate there twice, once for breakfast and once room service for dinner. For the breakfast, it was very disorganized. Dirty dishes on empty tables for long periods, people coming to sit at my table while I went to get food because there were no free clean tables available. Many of the chafing dishes were empty. I waited for 20 minutes and they were still empty. Egg station only had cold eggs sitting on plates. Food did not taste good. For my room service dinner, fish and chips, it was disgusting. The food was very greasy and overcooked. I could tell the oil everything was fried in was old. Because of the negatives, I cannot recommend this hotel and its restaurant.
