During breakfast we waited for over 20 mins with no waiter serving us. We had to call them by ourselves. Was it discriminatory ? They were tending to other people.

Great hotel and accommodation. The staff is friendly and professional. The dining staff are very warm and welcoming especially Elizabeth.

Not the greatest experience tbh. Check in was great, which was a good start, but then it went a bit downhill. My wife and I went for a couples night away. This hotel is not for that. We wish we’d brought our 4 year old with us as she would have had great fun. Whilst the hotel staff such as Rachel, Paul, William and Elizabeth were great and helpful the food was underwhelming and unimaginative. The breakfast was bland and could have been so much better. The worst thing of all was that check out was 10:00am and we only learnt of this as I was asking to keep the room for a couple of hours so my heavily pregnant wife could stretch out before we drove back to Nairobi. Even trying to extend our room for 30 mins was a real issue with the desk staff not really appreciating our situation or being particularly helpful. We would like to consider ourselves great customers of Fairmont in Kenya but this also wasn’t taken in to consideration. Tbh, stay at the Norfolk.
