Booked two rooms , couldn’t get connecting rooms however they were adjacent rooms. Not much of a view nor was I offered any upgrade options upon check in (I’m an Accor Gold member) Unfortunately the shower cubicle had a problem where the excess water overflows into the bathroom. Personally, I wasn’t very impressed with the quality of the room, bed was hard , space was tight. I’ll probably go for other 5 star properties in Kathmandu next time as the neighbourhood was very boring as well. Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Special mention to Roshan (F&B) who was quite helpful during our stay.

The Mercure Kathmadu hotel is a top class location for service and food. The staff is exceptional. Aran and Phurpa provided a top calss service during meals. anticipating all our needs. The baker, Salina, is extremely talented, her cakes were soft and moist and her cheesecake was to die for, the perfect balance of flavours and texture a world class experience Finally the views from the rooftop bar and pool are breathtaking on a clear day
