WiFi was not working and was too slow for entirety of my stay (2 days). Manager mentioned that WiFi will never come back because of network provider issue but that should not be my problem as a guest. Further, The staff was not polished and couldn’t speak english well. The buffet food was also stale - especially the baked beans. Upon highlighting the chef refused to acknowledge and got very defensive. Mini bar was not stocked and there were no smart tvs either. Locality was also quite bad and place looked in shambles from outside.

The Mercure was great. Clean spacious modern comfortable. The beds and linens were fabulous. The rooms were quiet in spite of many people staying at hotel. The decor and all spaces were clean. The breakfast hosted many people it got crowded and there was some waiting and they ran out of cups for coffee or tea but food was varied and good.

nothing for views from room- and shower cubicle very odly diesigned ( quarter partitioned having no practical usage as it just cant hold / restrain watwr spalsing on floow during shower and on top of that poor drainage leading to water on floor and no getting dry 2n Bed/ Pillow quality is no upto mark and leads to speain on neck and waist in morning 3rd Food quality - very very tasteless- full of salt sprinkled - layout of buffet at fag end of corridor is very odd reachability shpuld be dotributed rather placed at last No varieties at all as per 5 star standard Only positive - roof top ambience/ Direct views of Taj from Roof top

The experience was quite pleasant. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The service was excellent and the food was quite good. The rooms were quite comfortable and well maintained. The only suggestions/feedback I can think of, are maybe bring back the main mirror in the bathrooms, instead of the motorized blinds, as the side mirrors make it difficult to do things like shaving etc. Furthermore, I appreciate the valet parking service, but it'd be great if you can include/provide complimentary car wash services (either as a daily service, or on request) in premises. Also, one more thing, I understand the key card concept, but it often gets deactivated if kept near a phone, which is a hassle. A better option can be thought of for that. Rest all is great. Truly appreciated.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Grand Mercure Agra! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our visit special and memorable. We were given a lovely room with an incredible view of the Taj Mahal right from our window, which made our stay in Agra even more magical. What really touched us was how the staff helped make my husband’s birthday so special. They beautifully decorated our room for the celebration, and during dinner at the restaurant, they surprised him with a special birthday dessert and gathered together to sing Happy Birthday. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture! 🥹🎂 We sincerely appreciate the kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail shown by the entire staff. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. These personal touches are what turn a good hotel stay into a wonderful memory. Woken up at midnight by employee bringing more guests into our room while my wife and I were sleeping naked because our suitcases had been lost by airline. Given left over pastries from breakfast time as an apology!
