I really enjoyed my week this July staying at the Mercure Larnaca Beach Resort. The hotel is located on a well positioned eastern facing beach with calm waters and a breeze coming in that cools things down. The newly renovated pool is delightful - including spots to sunbathe and spots to relax in the shade, depending on what you want. The four bars and one restaurant (but you can order restaurant food from the bars too) have really interesting and diverse menus of food and drink, and there is so much variety at breakfast (not just a standard continental breakfast like at some hotels)! And the prices were quite decent, I thought. The staff were all really friendly and pretty efficient at their jobs. I did find housekeeping timing a little patchy - only that on a couple of days I had put my ‘clean my room’ door light on early in the day, but found it hadn’t been cleaned by the time I got back in the early afternoon. I loved how quick the elevators were - I find it quite frustrating as a regular guest of hotels to wait for slow elevators, and these ones were A+ ! I would really recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxed place to spend some time in the sun, the shade, the pool, and the beach, in beautiful and friendly Cyprus.

The hotel is nice , with a new swimming pool and private beach. the hotel stuff is great , the hotel itself is clean and modern. it is a bit far from the center, and there's nothing to do around. i was a bit upset that the hotel didn't allow us to extend our stay even with 30 minutes, so we need to leave exactly at 12.

Nothing special …. Inky one good thing that it’s small hotel… But very slow service !!! And discussing view from balcony … Food very poor
