We had an absolutely wonderful family stay at the Mercury Hotel Villa in Cyprus. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable, relaxed and very welcome. The villa was beautiful, spacious and perfect for a family holiday. Everything was clean and well maintained, and we especially enjoyed the privacy and peaceful atmosphere. It was exactly the kind of place where you can truly switch off, spend quality time together and enjoy Cyprus. Our whole family had a fantastic time, and we left with so many great memories. The stay exceeded our expectations, and we would happily choose this villa again for another holiday in Cyprus. Thank you for making our family vacation so special. Highly recommended!

The room was very small, although "deluxe", and the sea view was relative from the L-shaped terrace that we could barely use anyway because of the heat. We could barely move around the room, and we only had 2 rather small cabin-sized bags, and not a lot of stuff. The pictures in the app don't show the real size of the room, nor the sea view we got. It is nice the hotel has its own beach, however, the beach was very dirty, with litter (cigarettes, plastic pieces, sticks etc.) and even a sock (!?) accumulating around the sun loungers. In 3 days, nothing was cleaned. The staff was nice and helpful, particularly the SPA team and the restaurant staff, and they made our stay a little better. The massage at the SPA was very good, and the gym, while rather small, is OK compared to other hotel gyms. The food is OK, but not extraordinary, and for a longer stay, you might run out of options. The rooftop bar sounds nice, but in reality it is a bit basic in terms of design, a bit dissapointing as well. Overall, dissapointing and not as relaxing as we were hoping, with the biggest issues being the size of the room and the litter on the beach. The main plus - (some of) the staff.

Regarding the room, our Deluxe categories and their layouts are clearly presented in the booking information, and we are sorry if the space did not meet your expectations. We also regret that the room and terrace were not as comfortable for you as hoped. Regarding the beach, we would like to clarify that it is a public beach and not exclusively used by hotel guests only. Our team regularly carries out cleaning rounds and provides bins around the area, but unfortunately some visitors leave cigarette butts, plastic and other litter behind. While we do our best to keep the area clean, we cannot fully control the behavior of members of the public using the beach. We are sorry that your overall experience was not as relaxing as you had hoped, but we truly appreciate your positive comments about our team and we hope to welcome you back for a better experience in the future. Dear Sirs, When I made my booking through phone I asked that my room is not facing the construction site. I called a few days before my arrival and asked again the same. When I arrived at the hotel I asked at the reception where was my room and the employee said that the room balcony was facing the swimming pool. When I entered the room I saw that the room was facing the construction site (room 708)!!! From inside the room I could hear all the time the trucks and I waked by the trucks. What a disappointment! On the other hand your hotel is excellent, the beach, the location, the building, the facilities, the staff at the restaurant, at the bar very friendly.
