I booked a smoke-free room but was given a room with very strong cigarette smell because of no smoke-free room available. Won't stay here again.

・Swissôtel Shenyang (沈阳雅高瑞士酒店) is downtown area in Shenyang city, it takes 25-30 mins from Airport by taxi, also accessible by Metro. ・Employees are polite and friendly, hear the demand / request and respond immediately. ・Room has bedroom and bath tab and courtyard, very comfortable, from the cabin you can see the Liaoning Broadcast and Television Tower, that is spectacular. ・Breakfast serves Western and Chinese cuisines, tastes good. Also it serves local cookings, you can enjoy the regional gourmet in the hotel. ・At this time I was with friends who is from Shenyang, the stay is fresh also for him, especially he was impressed the taste of Fried belt fish(五香炸带鱼), which he often ate in childfood and felt nostalgic. I believe that we would have an inspiring stay at the next time too.

The housekeep staff member on the 20th floor, Ada Li, was extremely hospitable. The concierge desk was always patient and generously helped with delivery of takeouts to the guest room. Thank you all very much for such a great experience in Shenyang!

Good location with good facilities. Staff members were friendly and helpful. And our room was upgraded, thank you! One minor complaint is that the hotel seems allow smoking inside, which is surprising, and we had to blast the A/C fan on the first day to get rid of the faint cigarette smell in the room. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Terrible design and upkeep through and through. Reeks cheap and budget cuts in every corner. There’s not even a coffee machine or a proper desk for work in the room and I was in the suite. Service attitude is lackluster and I can find way better service in cheaper Chinese brands. Overall not a good deal and might as well spend your money in Conrad or Hilton.

I have stayed far over 100 nights in Swisshotel/(Kempinski) over the last 15 years and service was always impeccable: Fast check-in, check-out, good breakfast with a wide choice of western food, clean rooms, good internet connection etc. Location close to the airport (20 min drive) without traffic jam is very convenient. the connected Paulaner restaurant-bar has probably the best western food in Shenyang.

I’ve stayed at Swissotel before, and I usually expect a certain level of quality, especially as an Accor member. I chose this hotel over another high-end chain nearby mainly because of my loyalty as an Accor member. However, this experience didn’t meet the standards I’ve come to expect from the brand. The room was outdated, and the drainage system was so poor that I could smell unpleasant odors near the window. The bed was uncomfortably hard, more like what you’d find in a budget hotel. On top of that, there was no express check-in lane for high-tier Accor members, and I didn’t receive the usual fruit platter. Considering the price, this stay didn’t feel worth it at all.

I had an exceptional experience at Swissôtel Shenyang thanks to the outstanding service provided by Shirley Shi, Gloria Dong, and the hotel’s conciege team (especially the one with the golden keys on his blazer (I cannot recall his name). Shirley and Gloria demonstrated remarkable professionalism, warmth, and genuine care throughout my stay—Shirley was attentive and proactive with every detail, while Gloria consistently went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. The Golden Keys concierge also impressed me with his expertise and dedication, offering thoughtful recommendations and seamless assistance whenever needed. Their combined hospitality truly elevated my stay, and I am grateful for such excellent service. Highly recommended!

Received upgrade on arrival. Upon entering the 8th floor (non-smoking), there was a very strong and offensive smell of cigarette smoke. The next morning, I made a complaint to reception about the strong smell of cigarette smoke. The Front office manager Rachel, did try to resolve this issue by changing rooms, but there seemed to be a strong smell of cigarette smoke on every floor. I requested to speak with the General manager Maggie, and we had a good discussion about this smoke issue. As a result Maggie and her management team were able to move us to a room that had minimal cigarette smoke odour.
