I’ve stayed at Swissotel before, and I usually expect a certain level of quality, especially as an Accor member. I chose this hotel over another high-end chain nearby mainly because of my loyalty as an Accor member. However, this experience didn’t meet the standards I’ve come to expect from the brand. The room was outdated, and the drainage system was so poor that I could smell unpleasant odors near the window. The bed was uncomfortably hard, more like what you’d find in a budget hotel. On top of that, there was no express check-in lane for high-tier Accor members, and I didn’t receive the usual fruit platter. Considering the price, this stay didn’t feel worth it at all.

I had an exceptional experience at Swissôtel Shenyang thanks to the outstanding service provided by Shirley Shi, Gloria Dong, and the hotel’s conciege team (especially the one with the golden keys on his blazer (I cannot recall his name). Shirley and Gloria demonstrated remarkable professionalism, warmth, and genuine care throughout my stay—Shirley was attentive and proactive with every detail, while Gloria consistently went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. The Golden Keys concierge also impressed me with his expertise and dedication, offering thoughtful recommendations and seamless assistance whenever needed. Their combined hospitality truly elevated my stay, and I am grateful for such excellent service. Highly recommended!
