We spent two nights at Hawar Resort by Mantis, and overall, it was an amazing experience. Accommodation: We stayed at the overwater villa with a private pool, and it was exactly what we hoped for—very private, peaceful, and beautifully designed. It felt like the perfect escape. Food & Dining: Breakfast was a highlight. The variety was impressive, and everything we tried was delicious. Dinner was also enjoyable, though one small hiccup happened when trainees were helping out one evening—the pasta wasn’t cooked as we had requested since the restaurant was quite busy. Another small feedback would be regarding communication: some of the staff in the dining area struggled a bit with English, even with basic requests. It wasn’t a major issue, but improving this would definitely make the dining experience smoother for international guests. Activities: The resort offers plenty to do. We chose a fishing trip, which was a great experience, and also tried horse riding, which was a lot of fun. There are definitely many more activities available for guests, so you’ll never run out of things to do if you want to stay active. One area that could be improved, however, is the evening activities—there weren’t many options, and adding more variety at night would make the experience even better. Overall: The service throughout our stay felt upscale, the staff were very welcoming, and the overall vibe of the resort is perfect for a relaxing getaway. We left with great memories and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for both comfort and activities in a private setting.
