Wonderful stay in a beautiful location. The staff were extremely friendly and provided amazing service. The wellness amenities were great (though an extra hot tub outdoors would be nice for the winter) and we especially liked the sauna area. We had two very nice SPA treatments that were very relaxing. The only trouble was the misinformation around the couples treatment room, which is advertised on the website but does not exist on site. The hotel bar and restaurant were also exquisite. Great selection of spirits in the bar and wonderful food and service in the restaurant. We spent so much time enjoying the hotels amenities that we had almost no time in the room, but it was also very nice and spacious. Overall very happy with our trip.

Biggest problem are pets!!! Seen few peed in the hotel and owners did nothing!!! Pets should not be allowed in the eating area!! Other big problem, AC constantly heating was so unbearable the heat in the room and very dried air!! Technician couldn’t do anything!! Hotel staff says that they know of the problem as a lot of guests are complaining!!

We are genuinely sorry to read about your negative experiences, particularly concerning pets and the room temperature, and we fully understand how this may have affected your comfort. Regarding pets, we are a pet-friendly hotel and, until now, we have not experienced similar issues, including in our restaurant areas. Pets are required to be kept on a leash at all times and to remain next to their owners’ table. That said, we are very sorry that your experience did not meet these standards and that this situation caused discomfort. We will certainly look into this matter more closely to ensure our rules are consistently respected. Concerning the air conditioning, we would like to confirm that during the period of freezing temperatures we experienced a technical limitation that affected the cooling function in some rooms. We sincerely apologise for the excessive heat and dry air, as well as for the inconvenience caused, and we regret that our technician was unable to resolve this during your stay. Hotel is definitely nowhere close to five stars. The most disappointing part was the hotel staff, who were rude and unprofessional. Spending the winter Christmas period in this hotel was a big mistake, as the hotel is badly designed and not suitable for serving peak numbers of guests, and the rude staff made the experience even worse. To give concrete examples: the dining area was far too small, resulting in hour-long lines for breakfast in cramped, crumbling corridors. We were declined à la carte dinner because the hotel was serving half board only at that time. The spa area is a joke in terms of size — the swimming pool is extremely small, and the whirlpool was constantly overcrowded (also outside pool). We were not provided room cleaning during our stay because, as we were told, the hotel had “too many requests for cleaning.” All of this is a total JOKE for a hotel that calls itself five-star. The only two good things about the hotel were the interior design of the rooms and the quality of the breakfast food.

Dear Ms. D., we are truly sorry to read that your stay did not meet your expectations, especially during the Christmas period, which should be a time of comfort and enjoyment. We regret that your experience led to such disappointment. At the same time, we would like to clarify several operational aspects that are clearly communicated to our guests. Dinner arrangements during the holiday period are structured as follows: half-board dinner is served between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, while the à la carte restaurant service begins at 6:00 PM. In addition, guests always have access to a full lobby bar menu as well as an in-room dining menu, should they wish to dine outside the half-board offering. Regarding breakfast, in order to ensure comfort and avoid waiting times during peak occupancy, guests are invited to confirm their preferred breakfast time in advance. This system is designed to provide seating without queues; however, participation is voluntary, and we are unable to enforce time confirmations if guests choose not to select a slot. Concerning room servicing, guest rooms are cleaned daily, in line with our standards. We clearly communicate that housekeeping is performed within designated service hours, rather than on-demand at any time of the day. We regret if this caused any misunderstanding during your stay. We are sorry that the overall experience did not reflect the quality we aim to deliver. Your feedback has been carefully reviewed and shared internally. At the same time, we appreciate your acknowledgement of the room interiors and the quality of breakfast products. Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. While we regret that your stay fell short of expectations, we value the opportunity to clarify these points and to continue improving our communication and guest experience. The temperature in the gym and children's playroom was far too hot. The cold plunge pool next to sauna wasn't available. The breakfast restaurant is crowded, you have to squeeze between the tables, touching the tables with your butt.

All went very and met my expectations fully. I appreciated how clean and fresh everything in the hotel looked, how nice and helpful the personnel were, and how generous in space the comfortable rooms were and how nicely they were decorated. Thoughts? I did find the SPA area rather limited in size, I was not convinced by the cleaning team who did not really clean the room and only went in and out to change the towels, but did not even bother to make up the beds any single day of the full week that I stayed (on the plus side at check-out the receptionist promised to book points to my account as if I had skipped the clean - which it did feel like without asking for it/nor wanting it), and last but not least I did find the lighting in the bedrooms very well thought through (or it was way too bright or way too dark). All in all, a very satisfying week I spend at Movenpick Karpacz.
