The hotel is beautifully located and the nearby beach is stunning. The rooms were more spacious than the website indicated and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, although a variation in the fruit on offer from day to day would have been appreciated. Staff were friendly. Housekeeping really wasn’t up to scratch for a hotel of this rating with dirty glasses not replaced the whole stay and cleaning variable. As mentioned by other reviewers, a large number of the poolside loungers are ‘reserved’. Not necessarily because anyone has actually reserved them, but held back and only made available for those who are prepared to spend 250 euros on food and drink that day. This is in poor taste given the cost to actually stay at the hotel in the first place! Our main gripe however was the noise. The rooms themselves appear not to have been soundproofed so you can hear people walking and talking in the rooms around you as well as in the corridor. Having deliberately chosen Cala Llonga because it was a quiet spot with no clubs or bars, we hadn’t anticipated techno music blaring out from speakers around the hotel from around 10.00 am until midnight. It could be heard in the rooms even with all the doors closed and made relaxing on the balcony impossible. (A real shame if you’ve paid for a room with the stunning sea view.) We appreciate that everyone has a different preference, but for us it made relaxing very difficult and we therefore wouldn’t come back. Perhaps it should be made clear on your website?

Danal at the concierge was so nice and helpful. She made our stay extra special, and we will definitely come back just to see her. This hotel is under great management and it’s so new and clean and such a great location and access to a beach… it’s really a great hotel

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Mondrian. Service was exceptional. Breakfast selection was great. Food from Pool bar and sushi restaurant were both top quality.

Dirty rooms and uncomfortable beds

Very nice stay and please fly surprised. Front valet gentlemen from Portugal (forgot his name) is world class and could be promoted. Impressed with his professionalism and great spirit. In the rooms the noise is loud when sleeping. You can hear everything in the hallway and above you. Perhaps try to improv sounds quality or add a second door in room like ibiza gran has. Also the bed squeaks insanely. Because it’s a lifting bed it causes that. Need to check asap. Tv in room didn’t work so well. No chrome cast. Breakfast top notch very impressed. Music a little loud for check in. I think more luxurious to turn off elevator voice noise when changing floors. And could improve the quality of stairwells. Still feels very original and old. Overall amazing hotel well done you guys should be proud. Perhaps best mondrian I’ve seen.
