When you book a night somewhere next door to the local drive-through McDonalds and with a car park that looks like a building site, you know what you're going to get. To be fair, the room was comfy and with a view of the mountains, the staff were friendly and breakfast was pretty good. Even the restaurant being closed had an upside as it forced us to go into town where we found a very nice dinner.

We stayed in Albertville after leaving Val thorens. The hotel was everything we could ahve asked for. A clean room which was well decorated, a great shower but what had it stand out was the staff. They were extremely helpful and willing to make sure our stay was even better. There was also pasteries and coffee available when wanted and this included Cappuccino's. There was an area for children to play. Breakfast was excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice an option. I would defiantly return.
