Good location, nice stay

We had a very nice stay, got upgraded to the presidential suite. However, the suite was outdated, seemed like it could use some work. Monica, the reception manager was wonderful, with the upgrade. The intentions were very good, just seems like the room needed work. The staff overall was wonderful.

Charming, but a little dated

Overall, very happy, but room for improvement: Despite being a Platinum Accor All member, the wait to check in was poor (15 minutes plus). No breakfast served in the Executive Lounge Balcony was unwashed (lots of guano) It's odd that there isn't more direct access to the pool, and as the pool was busy, that there weren't more obvious instructions on how to get to the sister pool in the adjacent building. Finally, the "Italian night" (with Alcohol) seemed to be beyond the comprehension of the waiting staff. I had to walk to the advert and show that drinks were included, and then had to chase them up several times. Food was lovely though...! Happy to explain more at : ri… if required.

Wonderful experience starting from the priority check-in the best I can remember in a long time by Ms. Monica. Great room a bit dated but with all amenities. Very courteous and helpful staff with a lot of attention to detail in making it a comfortable and enjoyable stay. In particular remember Yvette, Lucy, Sri, Jackson and Ranjita in fact everyone was great. Breakfast variety covered almost everything and the Seafood Night was fabulous. Well located with a lot of options for dining.

As an Accor member, decider to try the swissotel, the disappointment started when i was asked to pay the my stay at check in. I booked a executive room, even a bottle water was not in the room when i arrived. Then on a half board. Lunch was very poor in choices. Hotel is dated and need updating in all levels.

totally rundown hotel

Check-in took 45 minutes as the staff was alone at 1 pm, while lots of people either check in or out. The executive lounge is a disgrace: no alcoholic beverage or food on offer, no happy hour; totally inconsistent level of welcoming compared to other Accor-managed properties. Staff is friendly but cannot compensate for the obviously outdated premises. One last horrendous episode: I used the underground parking several and guard as he should let me in. One time an obnoxious aggressive guard went for a power trip and refused to open the gate, asking impolitely "what was i doing here?"(isn't it obvious?) "what is my room number?" "show me your card". Unacceptable gestapo-like behavior..

We had a great time at the hotel. It was in a good location with the Dubai Mall only walking distances away. The hotel was very clean and they had sanitisers and face masks in the lobby. The rooms were clean. The hospitality was great. The staffs were amazing and very helpful. We didn't go to the hotel restaurant that much as we mostly went outside but the food was delicious. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend the hotel.

First time at a Swissôtel and I can't say that my expectations were high but I was impressed with the attention of the staff and they gave me a really fine customer experience. I arrived at midnight and they still sent me instantly some platters with things to eat. It was also nice to see that they respected every advantage of the Platinum ALL Accor card. I was staying at another 5* ACCOR hotel in Dubai afterwards and there, there were more issues regarding service, some were rude or very indifferent - it's difficult to keep all of your staff on the same level of customer service. I will definitely come back to the Swissôtel Al Murooj in the future!

Perfect Location for my stay, however apartment was a little dated and requires some modernisation

I was working in DIFC so the apartment was perfect location to walk to work and also perfect for walking distance to Dubai Mall and the Metro. The apartment was a good size and I had plenty of room, however the decor is dated and in real need of decorating and modernisation. If I returned alone again I would stay again, but if I return with my family, I would look for somewhere a bit 'nicer' to stay. I stayed 4 nights in the hotel before moving to the apartment. I have request 3 times for the Accor points to be added to my account but they still have. I was disappointed to be told I would only receive points for the 4 nights in the hotel and not receive any points for the apartment stay.

Extremely professional and helpful staff, very good position and good food. Unfortunately the master pool was under maintenance and we could use only the smallest one but I really suggest this hotel. I don't give "10" points only because in the "smoking" room (anyway, big, bright, clean and very comfortable) the air intake system didn't work properly and window is locked, so there is an unpleasant smoke smell

I stayed for 9 days and thoroughly enjoyed my stay, all my requests and needs were fulfilled and met and all the staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel was well equipped and was a very comfortable place to call home for the 9 days I was staying, would definitely recommend.

The experience was okay. The staff were lovely especially in the dining hall. My balcony was filthy with pigeon mess and the room often smelled bad. Very distrustful about payments. Very expensive F and B without giving luxury for the price and low quality toiletries. A 5* trying to cut costs.
