During my stay in Room 8029, I noticed a few issues that I hope can be improved: 1. There was no hand soap provided. The bottle next to the bathroom sink was body lotion instead, and its pump was broken, so the lotion could not be dispensed. 2. The two bottles by the bathtub were body wash and shampoo. This meant that after taking a bath, I had to walk over to the sink to use the body lotion, and whenever I wanted to wash my hands at the sink, I had to use the body wash from the bathtub instead because there was no hand soap. 3. The bidet spray in the toilet was extremely powerful and quite uncomfortable to use. The water pressure seemed more suitable for cleaning the floor than for personal use. Other than these three issues, everything else about the hotel was excellent. I had a wonderful stay and really appreciated the overall service and facilities. P.S. I believed the hotel did not provide hand soap until my checkout day, when I used the restroom on the 2nd floor and found that hand soap was available there. That’s when I realized it was likely an oversight in the setup of my room rather than a hotel policy.

Great stay at Mövenpick Resort Phan Thiết. Comfortable beds, excellent facilities, and very friendly and helpful staff. The service was outstanding, and we had a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

The room and hotel restaurant were top-notch. I would highly recommend a stay in the Executive Suite with Bunk Bed to any family of four (parents and 2 children). However, we did encounter the following issues with the check-in process: 1. Both access cards were not coded to open the room, requiring a trip back to the check-in desk to rectify. I do recall that the check-in folder was half-prepared by one staff and then handed to another staff to complete. Each staff most likely assumed the other would code the cards. 2. The staff at the check-in counter advised, when we asked, that only VIP guests of Platinum level or higher can access the Executive Lounge on Level 9. This access was actually promised in the benefits of the room type that we booked. We went to use this lounge anyway and was welcomed by the lounge staff upon being advised of our room number.

The staff went above and beyond for my daughter’s birthday and the hotel was incredibly beautiful.

Comfortable stay - but half board dishes is not good

Very short stay to celebrate friend’s birthday before heading to next destination but hotel did all the best to accommodate us. We appreciate every surprise things that they did in our stay. In other hand, as also coming from brand Movenpick, I expect the Signature Chocolate hour should have more selection of sweets. In overall, this is a very short but good stay. I booked a twin room via Agoda, and although it is categorized as a twin room, Agoda provided two options: either two separate beds or one large bed. I selected one large bed, and this preference is clearly reflected in my booking details. However, upon check-in, I was assigned a room with two separate single beds. After a long journey with luggage, I was very tired and just wanted to rest, so I did not go back down to reception to request a room change, especially considering I would have had to move rooms and carry my luggage again. Nevertheless, for a 5-star resort, this shows that your staff are inattentive and do not sufficiently care about guest preferences. I am an Agoda VIP Diamond member, which means I have spent many nights in resorts and high-end hotels both in Vietnam and internationally. I have never encountered a situation where I selected a large bed but was assigned a room with two separate beds upon arrival. This is the first time I have experienced such an issue, and it is disappointing that it happened at Mövenpick Resort, especially as this was my first time trying your brand. Additionally, the staff demonstrated a lack of knowledge regarding the resort’s services. My booking included a full-board package (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). I checked in around 2 PM and had already had lunch beforehand, so I asked the receptionist whether I could use the lunch benefit the following day after check-out. He did not know the answer and initially ignored my question, which I found disrespectful and unprofessional. He only mentioned breakfast hours (6:30 to 10:00) and chocolate hour, without addressing my question about lunch. I had to ask again whether I could have lunch the next day after check-out or if I needed to use it on the day of check-in. He then had to consult another receptionist nearby because he did not know the answer himself. This reflects Movenpick's inadequate staff training. I also experienced unprofessional behavior from the restaurant staff. During chocolate hour, I could not find the forks because they were covered under a napkin, and I initially thought they were spoons. When I asked a female staff member nearby, she responded in a disrespectful tone, as if I was bothering her. The following day, after finishing lunch and leaving the restaurant, a staff member passed by without saying “thank you.” In a 5-star resort, such basic courtesy should be standard. Furthermore, I was charged a holiday rate for my stay from May 3 to May 4, even though the holiday period had already ended. This resulted in a price that was nearly double the normal rate. Given the level of service and professionalism I experienced, I do not believe the stay was worth the price charged. Overall, I am very disappointed with the lack of attentiveness, professionalism, and service quality at your resort. We had a great time doing half board in the movenpick phan thiet. The pool is perfect for little kids and the course menu changed each night for dinner. The only problem for us was that we kept running out of the bottled water and didn’t have easy access to any shops near by as there isn’t a lot of stores near by the hotel that we could find,

We gave our stay a 6/10. While the experience was good, it didn't quite live up to the high standards we’ve come to expect from the Mövenpick brand. As frequent guests at your Cam Ranh and Phu Quoc properties, we found this location a step down in terms of both atmosphere and amenities. On the positive side, the staff were generally amazing, and I have to give a big shout-out to Thuan, one of your managers, who was incredibly helpful in resolving issues during our stay. However, the breakfast service was inconsistent, with some staff appearing to be agency workers who were largely inattentive and unhelpful. The resort layout felt poorly allocated. It seems heavily focused on kids' areas, leaving little space for adults. The pool felt too small and overcrowded, the large ship feature in the center isn't particularly functional, and the beach was dirty and unswimmable. The 24-hour gym is fantastic, though keeping it open around the clock seems like an unnecessary energy waste that isn't very eco-friendly. It was a decent trip, but compared to what you offer at your other locations, this stay lacked the true "resort" feel we were hoping for.

The entire pirate themed thing can be nice if you travel with families. I came during low season which meant that the neighborhood was deserted. The environmental performance could definjtely be improved, for example I didn't appreciate that the AC was pre-set to a very low temperature (I had to manually adjust every time I entered) and the room was pre-cooled when I arrived. Also small things like all the gym eqipments being turned on 24/7 even though almost noone used it.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious and clean with amazing sea views. Everyone is friendly and kind. We would definitely return!

I had a comfortable stay at Movenpick Phan Thiet. The staffs were so friendly, supportive and made me feel like home. The bedroom is fully equipped and beautifully decorated, which is a big plus. The bathroom and toilet are completely separate, adding extra convenience. Breakfast is delicious and diverse, and the coffee is excellent. The swimming pool is lovely as well. However, the children’s play area is somewhat limited and lacks variety in toys. There is no private beach within the property, but you can easily reach the beach by crossing the road.
