(+) The hotel is very clean, well designed and well located with a good view of the ocean... The pool is very nice with a signature ship... Beakfast is great with a lot of choices of food, and we really liked chocolate hours which I believe makes the hotel more significant than the others... We were scared by the fire alarm testing in the middle of the night without any upfront notification but the hotel made it up to us with a really nice basket of fruit and some fresh juice and cake which was very considerate of them.... The hotel staff were very helpful and caring all the time. (-) As above, fire-alarm testing should go with upfront notification and the hotel front desk should help the guests understand which is a real alarm (Ex. bell alert and speaker alert) or the testing alarm only (Ex. bell alert without speaker alert) like what they said to me when I called to ask what's happening... The bolt of my door-lock of room 7030 didn't work so I was not feeling so safe during my stay because I didn't like to bother people by asking someone to have a look, maybe I should have asked instead. Some of the staff in the restaurant didn't look very friendly as i was watching them during breakfast and dinner, maybe they were just too serious about performing their job.... Some drink should be added to chocolate hours, especially tea.

This was our 2nd stay and it was as pleasant as the first. We were 2 families in a family suite and a deluxe king room. The kids enjoyed the pool and bunk beds. Rooms were clean, gym and sauna excellent. The wait staff and Mr. Alex were great as always. The "shaky beef" and shrimp dish at the restaurant were tasty and perfectly cooked. Breakfast was tasty and salad selection perfect. We'll be back next summer.

Good Location but Customer Experience could be improved

Upon arrival, we encountered significant problems with the check-in process. The hotel's website had been down, leading to a complete mess with our booking details. As a result, we had to wait for more than an hour before finally getting our room. This delay was quite frustrating and not the level of service I expected from the reputation of Movenpick Hotel chain. During our stay, we noticed a lot of flies in the hotel restaurant, which was quite unsettling. The overall cleanliness of the hotel could definitely be improved. It's disappointing to see such lapses in hygiene, which significantly impacted our comfort. On a positive note, the hotel's location is excellent, providing easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. We have had excellent experiences with Mövenpick hotels in the past, particularly during our visit to the Phu Quoc location in last October. Unfortunately, this particular stay did not meet those same high standards and the staff were not equipped to share any map or travel tips like the one in Phu Quoc had done so. While Mövenpick is generally one of the better hotel chains in Vietnam, this stay was fall below our expectations. I hope the management can reassess these issues and train the staff to ensure a more pleasant experience for future guests.
