As Accor Platinum members, my wife and I have stayed at many Mercure hotels around the world, and this one falls way below the brand's usual minimum standards. On check-in we were told that the standard room at this hotel has no window. Fortunately we were upgraded to a "superior" room, which was more like a regular Ibis room but was adequate. Room service was a disaster - it took multiple calls and visits and over an hour to get the right order, and the food was poor anyway. Breakfast was dangerous: most of the hot food was not being kept properly hot, the fruit was covered in ants, and the staff seemed completely unaware that they were serving up a potential health hazard. On the subject of the staff, I found it very disappointing that so few of the staff are Papuan. The few Papuans being employed were in the lowest-status jobs but provided us with the best service, while all the more senior positions at the front desk and restaurant went to people brought in from various Indonesian islands, none of whom were very good. The positive things about this place are that it's cheap and central, so it could be OK just for a convenient stopover. But Mercure is usually about something more than that.

During the breakfast, the food was not maintain at warm condition. The fish fillet was at room temperature, it seems the heating stove was not working.

The complete experience was great. Nice people at the reception, great flat and very comfy beds. The desk clerk also help me by printing my flight ticket. I recommends this venue for any kind of trip.

I am very glad to find this place. Location was great for me, the rooms spacious and most of all very affordable. The staff was friendly.Luckily, I could check in earlier. The only problem for me was communication channels because I don’t use much my email address. But you can call by phone if you want.
