On our arrival at the hotel we were warmly greeted by Luca at reception. Having checked in online the process was quick, we were given the necessary information a. introduced to the concierge, our go to person should we require information or advice or bookings relating to our stay in Cagliari. We were brought to our room a. everything was explained to us. Our room was bright a. modern with a lovely view over the port, marina a. newly refurbished promenade. The bathroom was spacious, plenty of nice towels, soft robes a. slippers. Toiletries were l’occitane. Breakfast was beautifully presented with eggs cooked as wished, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, cold meats, cheese selection, yoghurts, smoked salmon, delicious ripe fresh fruit, breads a. a selection of breakfast cereals, pastries a. cakes. The dining room staff were very attentive a. after our first morning our preferences were remembered. The Ciel rooftop restaurant served evening meals a. the food a. service was also excellent. The Terra speciality restaurant with taster a. a la carte menus serves excellent food a. is highly recommended. The staff helped to make eating here a very special occasion. Staying in the Palazzo Tirso hotel was a truly memorable experience a. it is the best of the M Gallery hotels we have visited. When we ran into a problem with train tickets Luca at reception had it sorted in minutes. We cannot praise the staff highly enough. They were warm, friendly, helpful a. were there to ensure that you had a pleasant a. enjoyable stay in the hotel. We will definitely return.

Staff is amazing! All very prepared, kind and attentive to details. They are the one who really made the difference at the hotel. The hotel is nice but the classic room I got was too small and dark. In a 5 star hotel I would also expect a porter who helps with the car, luggages at all times. There was only 1 person who had to do multiple jobs. I also wanted to try the restaurant Cielo, and it was not open in the evening the days I was able to have dinner at the hotel. I was forced to order a room service as I just wanted a quick bite and not a fine dining restaurant. An alternative option should be given to people.

It was a walk in for one night. Reception staff was nice and the offered room rate was ok too. The assigned room was nice but with NO view at all. I looked against a wall a few meters away from the window but the bathroom window gave a full view to the inside for everyone. They installed a Rollo to against this window which stopped the viewing access but also kept the light out!?!? Breakfast was ok but nothing special for a 5* place.

The staff are the stars in this comfortable hotel with great rooms, restaurants, spa facilities and rooftop bar giving great views over the arena. Staff welcomed us and ensured as much accessibility as they could offer during our stay, including reserving their accessible parking space (there are three public disabled parking bays on the street next to the hotel if this isn’t possible).
