Location proximity of our events in Alula and the area was great. Half board was a nice buffet. We enjoyed the restful sitting area under the tree. We had a problem with water 2 separate days. First day took 3 phone calls in over 5 hours to get it taken care of. Second time we had no water in the room. But was not informed it was fixed. We figured it out an hour later. Overall it was a nice stay. A few extra hooks in the bathroom to hang towels would be nice. Instead of the towels and second robe hidden in the foyer closet. We did not use the TV. We looked at it but nothing was on it. No Chanel’s. But that’s ok. We did not come there to watch tv. But. No information in the room about times for restaurant Or others locations going on. No information about the pool. Lounge. All was word of mouth at check in. I tried to write instructions down but i know i did not get it all. Only breakfast and dinner times. I think i got. No real explanation of the resort facilities. Plenty of water in room to drink or make coffee or tea with. That was nice. No indication for Makkah. But i have an app for direction. No real issue. Was just strange to not see a marker. Room was clean. Nice there was an extra blanket for the bed. Food was good. Friendly staff.

The place is nice, calm and relaxing. Located in the middle of most of the attractions. However, some rooms are old, broken and ugly not worth the price

Service is great - but the infrastructure is underwhelming. FOr a $1000/night room, I'm expecting nice flooring, not cheap, cracking wood-laminate covers; I'm expecting a bathtub, not cheap shower heads with fake laminate wall coverings. The entire bathroom is a diaster - it's not even as nice as a 3 star hotel room. The floor in the bedroom is cracked. The aircon is TCL - very loud. The phone did not work (but later repaired), the table lamp is wobbly, etc. Really need to upgrade the room to match the price and the expectation.

Good but we report sewage smell in the room coming from toilet and not fixed. Also we asked for connected room and we were promised and rooms are far
