Love everything from the experience to the staff 🩵

My stay at Banyan Tree AlUla was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking desert landscape and the sense of privacy and serenity that surrounds the entire property. The villas are beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with the dramatic rock formations while offering every modern comfort imaginable. Waking up to the peaceful stillness of the Ashar Valley was a truly unforgettable experience. The attention to detail in both the architecture and the interiors reflects understated luxury at its finest. The service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring without ever being intrusive. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Dining was equally impressive, with exceptional quality and presentation that matched the magical setting. Banyan Tree AlUla is more than just a hotel; it’s a destination that offers tranquility, exclusivity, and a deep connection to nature. I left feeling completely refreshed and inspired, and I cannot wait to return.

Many things not working in the room, obviously not prepared well before check in.

Breakfast is chaotic, poor service, poor variety considering this hotel category and sometimes some food items ran out. Poor service: I had to ask for silverware every single day, every single time. The staff would take the dirty plate and silverware and would not replace it for clean ones. This happened every single day during my stay, multiple times. There should be more than one person making the eggs as the line gets too long and we have to wait a lot. Ran out of apple juice during 2 days: if I'd arrived at breakfast around 9:30am, some items would run out. The staff should provide enough food for every guest and this did not happen. The staff wouldnt replace the butter on the buffet, we had to ask the kitchen if they still had some left. I mean, this type of service for a hotel of this category is unacceptable. Upon checkin, while I was given an upgrade, the staff did not mention that I had a 450 riyal voucher to use at the spa. Ended up only figuring it our after checkout and did not use the voucher as a result of this poor communication. The buggies would sometimes take too long to come, one day we waited over 20 minutes after we initially asked for it. Hotel pool is in the shade all the time and while its a beautiful pool, I feel like its not a pool I'd wanna spend my day at. Maybe the hotel should have another pool.
