We couldnt fault 25hours hotel in Florence. The location was generally perfect. Everything you needed to be in reach of both north and south of the river was always no more than a 15 minute walk away. The hotel is quirkily decorated, very clean, with great sized rooms (and a balcony). Having a SMEG fridge was a great touch. The lobby/common area was great with a really nice patio to sit outside and relax. Service was great too. Nothing was an issue and they even set aside some breakfast to take away as one of our tours was before the kitchen opened.

Excellent design hotel in the heart of Florence

This is a hipster hotel done right, with coherent and consistent quirks, and design touches executed well. My "heaven-themed" room on the second floor had a large and comfortable bed and perhaps the nicest, most plush, duvet I've ever had in a hotel. The free minibar contained water, cola, beer and nugget-sized bits of chocolate. There's also good drip coffee you can make in your room. Things like totes and umbrellas are available to borrow, with the option to pay for them and keep them if you like them. The bathroom and toilet were separate in my room. The toilet had a jetspray - much more compact and user-friendly than a bidet. There's an Ultimate Ears bluetooth speaker by the bedside. Also, plenty of storage space for your clothes and luggage. The windows looked over the all-day restaurant, where an excellent breakfast was served. Ver good filter coffee was available at the self-serve counters, but you could also get freshly made coffee on order. Staff at the front desk were polite and friendly. Wifi was good all through the hotel. Small negative was housekeeping, who steadfastly did not service the room at all during my four-day stay. On day three, needing the trash emptied and water bottles replaced, I hung the sign asking for service on the door handle, only to find that it had been turned around to DND by the time I returned, with a note saying they were respecting my need for privacy.

Fun Time In A Great Location

We had a fun time at this hotel. It was in a good location relative to the train station, airport tram, and tourist attractions. On all our prior trips we stayed at the Santa Croce end of the city, so this was a change for us in terms of what was closer or further away, and overall equally accessible in balance with what we wanted to do. As you can read -the hotel is themed on heaven or hell. This is carried out throughout the property in a light way and added to the lively vibe. Restaurants were always busy downstairs whether for coffee or apertivo or people getting work done. There was a sauna(hell) and a music/billiards/library. So when you want a break from sightseeing this is a good home base. Beds were comfie, room was quiet and ours came with a small balcony with a view of the monastery next door and orange trees. Plenty of elbow room for two people. Breakfast was excellent and the room was gorgeous. We were greeted each morning by Niloufar who made sure we were satisfied and caffeinated. The people at the front desk were each well trained and helpful whenever we had any needs. We will now have to keep not just this location, but all 25hours on our list for future adventures.

CBC122 Families - TripAdvisor review

This hotel is walkable from the train station, Santa Maria Novella. Maybe 10 minutes. The hotel has a cool vibe and a lovely courtyard to sit in and enjoy a glass of Prosecco. We had two rooms and I was sharing with my adult daughter. So the shower is a clear glass with a little frosting. I wish I would have checked on that prior to booking. I prefer a shower in a bathroom but besides that, the room was nice and clean. Not sure why hotels assume that only couples will be staying in hotels. Aside from that, there was a fridge with a couple of free drinks. The heaven/hell theme is in full force in the rooms and elevators. The location is great and close to lots of stores and sights.

I had to depart three days early because of a genuine crisis which I documented for them and they refused to reimburse me. Totally unreasonable and greedy. The "hell" rooms were truly hellish. The whole reason I stayed there was because of the pics of the beautiful atrium, but you can only sit there for paid breakfast for hotel guests. We got there early and wanted to have breakfast there and were turned away.
