Distroyed my Anniversary day

It was my anniversary, but the stay was too bad unfortunately! The AC was not working, and it was too hot. We asked for help, and we got it 3 hours later without solving the issue. We've been asked to change the room and they transferred us 2 hours later. The whole day was destroyed for just waiting for help and changing the room. We got the new room at midnight which is the time of sleeping. We couldn't watch a movie neither use the bath tab as the bathroom was too hot. They said that they will compensenate us with 30 min message, but even this didn't happen as the spa was fully booked. Yes they promised us later with another night in the ucoming 6 months, but who can return the time back and compensate our anniversary day? More than that, the italian restaurant in the hotel wasn't good at all. We ordered 7 dishes, couldn't eat any of them, although we are not picky in food. It was a very bad stay, I'll never repeat it again.

Lovely rooms with breathtaking views and the service and ambiance never disappoint! It’s my go to hotel in Dubai and I’d stay there again in a heartbeat! So well located - most places are 10-15 minutes away!

Disappointing

Air conditioning did not work. Even after the guy came twice. Front desk were aware of the faulty aircon. Luggage took over 40 mins to come to the room. So I lost 1hr of my photoshoot time. The pool does not look like the website. No lounge chairs. Just lots of arm chairs & sofas. A few small palms, instead of the tall ones on the website. And rusted metal on the glass in the infinity pool. Dirty glass. So looks a little run down. Michelin star restaurant was also disappointing. Food was average. Service was slow. After we ordered, the waiter came back 30 mins later to tell us that there were no prawns available for the starter. So we waited even longer for our food. cocktails were fabulous though.
