SLS is high design which is fab but they've forgotten about the customer experience - at every touch point from reception, to housekeeping, room service, pool bar, lounge bar - we got the distinct impression that the staff thought it was all about them. It really isn't.

I am a customer of SLS. All my previous trips were in Dubai. I only live in SLS, but the last experience will be my last experience with you. There was a very, very bad smell in the room, as if the room was sleeping in the bathroom. I informed the room cleaning service of the problem and it was not solved.

The hotel rooms are great, it’s clean and well located.. the 2 downsides is the fact that you need to go through 2 elevators to reach your room; also the valet takes forever to bring the car and they don’t have a good system for it

I called on the check in day to ask if i could check in early but despite me asking to check the possibility over the phone i was instructed to come physically and check myself. I was on my way to the hotel and i just needed a yes or no answer but the lack of willingness to help really bothered me. Needless to say i had a bad check in experience. I was compensated with a tiny plate of sweets which i didnt eat anyways. I called for valet so they could bring my luggage which took more than 30 min. Then again another 30 min to leave the hotel. Upon check out it was even worse 45 minutes to get someone to take the luggage so i could leave this hotel. I called valet, concierge, front office, back office and bell boys. I get a yes we’re coming answer and no one comes. Eventually i go to check out myself and was assured that i will be taken care of but still waited 20 minutes This is not a 5 star service, this is a motel service And after staying twice at sls and dealing with the same thing i will not be coming back. They ruined my holiday and i expressed my feelings on twitter, ticktock, instagram, tripadvisor and google map to advise people not to stay at SLS.
