Me, my partner and 16 year old daughter visited today for the Sunday Carvery. At £13.99 per person (although kids eat free) we felt it was great value for money. The food was delicious and cooked just right. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious and the staff were attentive and very friendly. Even though it is a little bit more expensive than other carveries in the immediate area it is definitely somewhere we would prefer to go in the future based on the quality and the ambience.

Chocoholiccc TripAdvisor review

I had a great stay here. My room was clean and modern. It was fairly quiet. The heating fan (as noted in other reviews) did make a slight noise at times and there are some main roads nearby but like quiet and it was ok. The staff were all friendly and the service was great. Particularly Shanni and Dean in the restaurant and the man in the gym (sorry didn’t get his name!). The restaurant area was a bit chilly but it was below freezing outside and it’s near the door so not a surprise. There are some areas of the hotel which are looking quite old. The ladies pool changing rooms especially. And there is no way to lock the lockers unless you bring your own padlock. However I do feel this is reflected in the price and having all the leisure facilities it does for this price is very good. The breakfast had a good selection but I think the price is a little high and more than some other hotels nearby.

I was so comfortable in my very clean and contemporary room. It had a kettle, tea, coffees, an iron and hairdryer. So all my needs were met. On top of the room being so great, the hospitality was outstanding in my experience. The staff went out of their way to make my stay as easy and comfortable as possible. I was given a dressing gown, extra hangers and even a knock wake up call at 6 am. A special shout out to Robin, Emma, Alexandra, Kane at the gym reception and the bar and restaurant staff too. They were all very sweet and gave great customer care. I ate at the restaurant 3 times and enjoyed my quality meals each time ( my favourite being the roast beef carvery which I had on Sunday just before I left to go home) so shout out to the chefs as well! Swimming pool was ok small but again I was so happy with the hotel itself the fact it was small didn’t matter in the slightest bit. I enjoyed the hot steam room and sauna and the jacuzzi was fab. Thank you everyone at the Mecure in Telford I had the best weekend stay with you!!
