Overall I was satisfied with my stay. Staff were excellent, food was good, room was clean with the exception of the shower area. This could really do with an upgrade.

Melissa at the front desk was absolutely superb. We had 8 rooms pre booked for my daughters wedding and Melissa went above and beyond for us. Thank you so much and what a lovely experience we had all around. Breakfast was lovely and the ladies serving were so kind and polite too! A wonderful stay at the Mercure!

Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Most aspects met our expectations and the reception staff attitude exceeded them. A couple of niggles were the cleaning spray used in the dining room left a sticky residue on all the tables ad the duvets had clumped in the corners, leaving a thin covering the middle. (Also please don't make the overworked breakfast servers tout for reviews)
