I stayed at this property in June 2025 and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. Initially I faced some issues with my booking as my trip had to be cancelled, the team was unable to process a refund or provide a credit note which was understandably disappointing. However, when my travel plans were finally confirmed and I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel I realised how professional the team is and what hospitality really means. From the moment I arrived I was impressed with the efficiency and Care shown by the team particularly. Ms Wiyada Laoharawe, director of rooms. She really went out of the way to make my stay comfortable and her thoughtful gesture of offering an upgrade truly reflects Movenpick spirit of customer service and excellence. Later, when an issue arose with the upgraded room, Mr. Ruben Miah, General Manager, personally stepped in. I only had the opportunity to interact with him over emails but his leadership professionalism and empathy were outstanding. Not only did he ensure that my concerns were resolved immediately but he also arrange for a credit note for the extra Nitai paid for and graciously extended its validity. I have yet to meet someone as genuinely Hospital and customer focused as Mr Miah. He and Ms Wiyada exemplify what world class hospitality should look like and I sincerely believe that professionals like them should be the ones training others in the hospitality industry. My experience at Movenpick Bangkok has turned what began as a stressful situation into one of the most memorable customer service interactions. I look forward to staying at this property again.
