The hotel ataff really took care of everuthkng for us...its a great location, good food oprions nearby, close to a metro..the staff was really reallh polite. Kook really went the extra mile to take care of our onboarding and assisted throughout.

Utterly Disheartening Experience at Hotel Mercury Sukhumvit Soi 11

I recently chose Hotel Mercury Sukhumvit Soi 11 for a business trip, coinciding with my family’s stay in Bangkok. Due to my demanding schedule, I requested my son to accompany me for breakfast in my double deluxe room. Upon entering the restaurant, I informed the front desk executive about my son’s presence. However, during our meal, she approached our table and, in an uncouth manner, demanded additional payment for my son's breakfast. Although I promptly settled the extra charge, I expressed that a double room should encompass breakfast for an additional guest. Instead of showing understanding, she displayed a shocking level of harshness and rudeness, causing an embarrassing scene in front of my child. I subsequently addressed this issue with the manager, hoping for a more refined and empathetic resolution, especially in a hospitality context. Regrettably, I was met with a perfunctory apology and a dismissive "this is our policy." Despite the hotel's commendable cleanliness and prime location, such unprofessional and discourteous behavior is utterly inexcusable. I have frequented Thailand numerous times and have never encountered such a lamentable experience. If you are traveling with family, particularly with children, I emphatically advise against staying at this hotel.
