This hotel is beyond fantastic. The staff is cheerful and courteous. There was a small hiccup in the bathroom which didn’t bother us but the housekeeping staff noticed and took immediate action. Pierre from their team was so apologetic about it and also left a card with a plate of fruits. He also offered us a free visit for the happy hours lounge service. Boy, from the concierge team is always supportive and smiling. Comfy beds, pillows, great buffet breakfast and unbeatable location makes this an ideal choice of hotel

During our stay at Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam, a small room/meal inquiry initially seemed like it could ruin the stay. The first manager quickly limited the options and didn’t fully hear me, even though I initially thought he was just staff, and even after I subtly hinted at sharing feedback online. The next day, when I raised another question about the Premier Parkview Benefits for my room, Ammy, the Director of Food & Beverage (DOFB), stepped in and instantly changed everything. She listened carefully, thoughtfully considered the available options, and never overpromised. She said, “Let’s see what I can do,” and later called back with a win-win solution for both the hotel and me. Her skill and attentiveness turned what could have been a frustrating experience into one of pure delight, making me feel truly valued and cared for. A huge thank you to Ammy for her exceptional leadership, thoughtful problem-solving, and for turning a potentially frustrating stay into a genuinely memorable trip. Thank you, Novotel and Accor Group, for the wonderful experience — and a special shout-out once again to Ammy for going above and beyond!

Lack of transparency regarding family room setup

We booked a Double Room + Child expecting a basic and reasonable family setup. Upon arrival, we were shocked to discover that the room included only one bed, with the assumption that the child would sleep in the parents’ bed. For a hotel that markets itself as family-friendly, this is completely unacceptable, especially for families traveling with older children or teenagers. What made the situation worse is that this critical information was not clearly disclosed during the booking process. Only after check-in were we informed that an extra bed would require an additional charge. Had this been communicated transparently in advance, we would have absolutely chosen a different hotel. Ending a long family trip with this kind of surprise felt misleading and disappointing, and raises serious concerns about transparency in the booking information.
