Very Disappointing Stay

I booked this hotel thinking it is under Accor so at least basic service standard will be there. But this stay was really upsetting for me. I reached early morning after a tiring journey. I politely asked if early check-in was possible. They straight away said no rooms available. I understood that sometimes rooms are full, so I did not argue. But the moment I said I am ready to pay extra, suddenly room became available. This really hurt me. If room was there, and I am a Gold member of Accor, they should have adjusted it or at least tried to help without immediately asking for money. That moment itself gave me a very bad impression. Service was pathetic. There is no proper room service. For a hotel in Sukhumvit area, this is very disappointing. Even the welcome drink situation was embarrassing. They gave the drink but said they don’t have ice and told me to take it like that only. The way they said it, without even feeling sorry, showed zero hospitality. Breakfast was average, nothing special. Just basic spread, nothing memorable. Only positive thing I can say rooms were clean. But overall, hospitality is not just about clean room. It is about how you treat the guest. This stay did not make me feel valued at all. I expected better. Much better

Regarding the check-in experience, we would like to provide some clarification on our policy. Our standard check-in time is 2:00 PM, which is clearly communicated at the time of booking, and we encourage guests to review these details when confirming their reservation. Early check-in requests, particularly for early morning arrivals (such as around 6:00 AM), are strictly subject to room availability and readiness at the time of arrival. While we genuinely appreciate your ALL membership and thank you for your loyalty, early check-in benefits are prioritized for reservations made directly through Accor channels and remain subject to availability. For bookings made through other channels, these benefits do not automatically apply. In addition, accommodating early morning arrivals often requires additional operational adjustments, which may result in supplementary charges in line with hotel policy, when applicable. With regard to our services, ibis hotels operate under economy brand standards that focus on essential comfort and efficiency. As such, we do not offer in-room dining services, and this is not listed among our facilities. We do, however, provide a complimentary welcome drink station in the lobby, featuring infused water for all guests. This is a simple welcome offering and does not include ice, and we regret if the communication around this did not reflect the warm hospitality we aim to deliver. We also regret that no concerns were raised with our team during your stay, as we would have truly welcomed the opportunity to assist you in person and improve your experience at the time. Please be assured that your feedback has been taken seriously. We continuously work on service enhancements and further development, and we also understand that travel plans can set certain expectations which, unfortunately, may not always be met in every situation. We truly regret not meeting your expectations on this occasion and sincerely hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide you with a better and more satisfying experience. I stayed at the hotel for about one week. The breakfast selection was quite varied, although some stations were not very convenient to access, such as the rice porridge station where the condiments were placed on small shelves. The food quality was good overall. I was particularly impressed with the housekeeping team, especially Khun Guy, who remembered small guest preferences very well and maintained the room in excellent cleanliness.
