I had a lovely stay at the Movenpick in Petra with my family. We took a Junior Suite which was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel facilities were top notch! The pool, resteraunt and bar were really well presented. The best thing about the stay was the staff, they were really lovely and attentive. Couldn't have been happier.
The location is the best for visitng Petra, literally leave the front door, cross the road and you are at the ticket office!

We were warmly welcomed and shown to a nicely appointed room. The beds and pillows were comfy cozy and the amenities didn’t stop there. A gift arrived from the hotel each day , we felt like Royalty and the hotel offered chocolate tasting, tea and cocktails all on them. The included breakfast buffet was not to be believed. I can’t say enough good things about this awesome hotel. And to top it off , the hotel is directly across the street from one of the most incredible wonders in the world. Petra is the most amazing place and I will never forget the hospitality that went along with it. Thank you!

Excellent and spotless stay, near to the entrance of Petra. However, the hotel policy is not to provide drinking water for dinner but with options to purchase. I even noticed tour groups bring their own drinking water for dinner. If I were the tour operator will rather go elsewhere rather than embarrass myself keep telling my guests that you all have to bring water for 5 star hotel dinner. Next time I will cross the street and stay at Crowne plaza to check it out whether they do the same practice.

We had a really nice stay at the hotel. The front office team was friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good selection, and dinner was enjoyable. The location was also convenient, making it easy to get around. Overall, a comfortable stay with good service and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d be happy to stay here again!

We spent a full week in Jordan, covering the highlights, and our favorite hotel, hands-down, was Movenpick Resort Petra. The room was beautiful, immaculate and very comfortable. The public spaces, including the central atrium and rooftop bar and restaurant in particular, were stunning. We took many pictures of the resort and really enjoyed the sunset view from the rooftop.
Every member of the staff we encountered was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable and pleasant. I really cannot say enough about them. They were all very interested in speaking with us and always had a smile on their faces. To my very pleasant surprise, one of the staff members who assisted us with the breakfast buffet even remembered my name from the evening before when we had visited the lounge.
While we did not have the chance to patronize all of the restaurants on property, the breakfast buffet was amazing, with everything that you might want. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Petra. You won't be disappointed!
