My experience with this hotel was quite disappointing.
Upon check-in, rooms are rarely ready even after 2–3 PM. Guests are often asked to either accept a room with two single beds or wait for several hours for the preferred room to become available.
The hospitality staff also seem inadequately trained, and basic amenities are frequently missing or empty. They are only refilled after repeated requests.
During my stay, the bathroom drain was clogged, and there was a strong, unpleasant smell in the bathroom. I reported the issue several times and requested cleaning, but the problem was not addressed properly.
Overall, the service and room readiness need significant improvement. For a hotel at this level, I expected much better hospitality, cleanliness, and attention to guest concerns.

I was sent to Room # 303 and when I entered in the room, there was white powder from the wardrobe and bar area. The powder (effect of wood boring insect) dropped on me and my cloths got dirty. Overall, room condition was quite poor even in washroom area the Muslim shower was unhygienic. A clear degradation in room quality from the past experience.

I was given room on 6th floor the room was good. Staff is courteous. However, housekeeping needs to improve the room cleaning and also of wash room.
The polish work in washroom above the sink looks shabby.
Restaurant staff in particular the Manager at breakfast s superb. Lamama staff is also very good. Reservation was handled very professionally by the Asst. Director Sales and very courteous.

The staff is extremely nice and friendly; however, the hotel is very very old with poor maintenance. I did not want to take a shower in the bathroom ... rusted sanitaryware with fungus and mold !!!

rooms were very cold even after swiching off the AC, takes time to attend for guest requests, I took around 12 staff with me, no special offers and heard the respose to one of our staff's request for complementary snacks (at the bar) meaning no customer care to ensure return of clients. Not woth for $150/night

The hotel and team is great. Unfortunately this time around the hotel water had an issue. It woudl take the longest time to come and then would be super hot even if cold was mixed.

Breakfast was okay but the room furniture is extremely old, there was a heavy damp smell in the room and in the pillows. The bed sheets were not new and clean, when I asked reception to change it they didn't even apologize. I didn't sleep properly for 3 days, my first and last time. It shouldn't be this hard to have high standards in a country where there is a limited number of the comfortable hotel.
