When checking in on my 1st day I was advised that 2 peices laundry per person per day is complimentary as there was 3 adults checking in.
After staying for 3 nights upon checking out I was requested to pay over 16,000 pakistani rupees for 3 days laundry at 2 peices each which was advised as complimentary during checking in time.
The receptionist was 2 very young males with no customer service and kept saying that I have to pay the full amount.
I asked them to contact Parin who checked me in but she wasn't on duty so they can't verify my version of the story.
I wouldn't make something like this up especially given the amount of money they charge to wash and iron a few mens short and trousers it is scam!

The stay was overall comfortable but I noticed a lot of irregular/general public seated in the lounge. The car rental desk needs more professionalism and regularity - they never got back to my car request and I had to request an external vendor for that.

I’ve stayed in Movenpick for more than 3 times and the last two times this happened. During my last stay, the housekeeping knocked the door thrice at 9 PM and then opened the door while I was sleeping inside saying this is their usual protocol. I don’t believe anywhere in the world, the housekeeping comes at 9 PM. Before this stay, there was another stay where my room number was mapped on another key and that family came straight inside the room by scanning the card. This happened twice back to back and I am rethinking my future stays with Movenpick because of this as twice my privacy and safety has been invaded.
