Five stars for the lovely welcome from Marsha

I got a lovely welcome from Marsha at reception when I checked in and throughout my stay she always said hello and smiled when I passed which really made a difference to how I felt about my stay there. I had stayed in this hotel in April 2024 and hadn't come back due to the rather small swimming pool and even smaller gym. I'm always surprised that such big hotels don't have larger pools and better-equipped gyms. I stayed in an 80m2 Deluxe Suite (520) at the end of a corridor so it was very quiet. The living room and bedroom corresponded to the photos on the Accor website but the shower was in the bathtub instead of being separate as in the photos and I don't like climbing into bathtubs, I prefer a walk-in shower which is easier on the knees. The toilet roll holder was too close to the toilet. The Executive Lounge was very good with a nice choice of food and drink even if the Happy Hour was only from 6-7.30pm whereas other 5 star Accor hotel Executive Lounges in Dubai are open for 2 hours for the evening canapés so it would be nice if they could extend the time. Breakfast at The Fountain on the ground floor was a bit of a mess even though they had added lots of extra tables in the lobby. It was always overcrowded and you had to wait ages for a table. It was nice that you could order Eggs Benedict with salmon from a waiter but it came on plain white bread rather than muffins so I was a bit disappointed with that. I went to Somerset's Bar in the evenings for a drink. It would be nice if they could have a non-smoking section. It's hard to be back in a smoky environment when you are used to cigarette-free environments all over Europe. The housekeeper Meherban from Calcutta did an excellent job in my suite and was very friendly so overall my stay was good and I would consider staying here again.

Yes the location was really good in every sense. The staffs are really friendly and really helpful and the security team (OLATUNJI) is been very helpful to us showing us around and he was there to guide us I thank the team😀

First Christmas abroad

Beautiful hotel, 15 minutes drive from the airport. Spotlessly clean. Rooms large & spacious. We took the all inclusive option & the food was fantastic. All the staff were super friendly & would try to accommodate any request. Special mention to Marvin at the pool bar - he didn’t stop for a minute, always remembered what you drank & kept your glasses topped up - all with a smile on his face! Also the staff in the sports bar who efficient & friendly. We were there for Christmas & the effort that was made was fantastic - the decorations, the Christmas Day brunch, Father Christmas & even a sweet gift left in the room on Christmas Eve. Highly recommend. My only criticism would be breakfast time which could be a bit chaotic with the amount of guests.

First Christmas in Dubai with my husband

My husband and I stayed at your hotel for 10 days.your hotel offered us peace, comfort and much more. Warm welcome from Stella who made sure our check in and check out was flawless. Special recognition to Parvez who was cleaning our room and making sure everything we needed was provided. He went over and above to make the room so homely. We will be back in February

Could have been better

We (two couples) arrived at the hotel from the airport at about 5 AM having booked the 2-bedroom apartment in October 2025, and paid for 5 nights including the night we arrived. After checking in, we were directed to a separate building through a back alley and some old furniture, didn’t seem very safe! We had previously requested for a higher floor and away from the street noise. Despite that, we ended up in an apartment on the second floor and at the back was a gas station with much noise. The run-down apartment seemed like in a 3-star hotel as opposed to the claim of a 5-star hotel. Extremely disappointed, we called the front desk to have us moved to a more appropriate unit. We were told they were fully occupied for the night and we would have to wait for any moving until after the morning check-outs. I asked that we needed to speak to the manager in the morning. After a couple of hours of not very good sleep, we had a very good breakfast and then we met with Mr. Marwan, the hotel manager, who apologised and ensured we were moved to the main tower and better rooms. He personally ensured we were satisfied with the rooms. He was warm and friendly through out our stay. He offered me 50% of my laundry, which I decided to accept. Unfortunately, didn’t realize that their prices were very high and thus ended up with a large bill for the laundry even after the discount, which was also poorly done. I could have bought new undies and vests cheaper than the laundry prices. As we had to depart the following day, we had to do the laundry again after arriving at home. The breakfast is par excellent! Wonderful eggs station with a very friendly and excellent cook making the omelets for us every morning. They are short on waiters who were very warm and ready to serve, but hard to get proper service from because they had to serve so many. Also found having drinks or coffee in the afternoon were very expensive. Very helpful staff were Shahnawaz (front desk), Rahul, Sandra, Frederick and Hussain in getting us cabs.
