Based on the hotel rates at the time of booking, i decided to stay here during my week long trip to Dubai. Like the fact that there are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The Metro is walking distance away too. Staff were really friendly. Very detailed in explanation at check-in. Room was a good size. Air-con can be controlled but somehow, temperature dropped in the middle of the night. Defeats the purpose of climate control. TV channels were mainly Dubai channels, only 1 English movie channel (old movies) and that sometimes shows a foreign movie. Hot shower was great. Hair dryer was fixed by the wall which saved the hassle of setting up. Housekeeping was great too. Gym was adequate. It would be good to have water dispenser and towels provided. There is a coin laundry but you have to exchange the tokens at the reception, which is another hassle too. And missing ironing board. The 24hr shop was a good addition. 'Grab-n-Go' was convenient but you have to pay at the hotel reception. If there is a queue, it is quite a wait. There is a microwave at the back of the food counter. I would have given a higher rating but did not because, as a Platinum Accor member, complimentary breakfast was not given, and late check-out was only till 1330h.
