Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, great shower and all very clean. The spa facility was a most welcome bonus and the guest garden and bbq area on the 4thn floor a lovely surprise!. We really appreciated the free upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment - thank you so much to the management team for your generosity! Will definitely be back and have already recommended the Sebel in Malvern to friends and family.

Perfect place to stay close to Cabrini Hospital for a couple of days while a family member was admitted. Easy to get around the area by car, train or o foot. Not used to the city traffic noise, but were still able to get a good night's sleep.

I’ve been staying here for a night once a week for the past 12 months as I have medical treatment in a nearby hospital. I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff here have been, especially Simon who mostly checks me in. The rooms are all to a very good standard and very clean. The penthouse is amazing!! Tip, Ask for a room at the back where it’s quieter.

The Sebel is extremely poorly designed, in terms of road access. There is no welcoming forecourt or front entrance. Instead, there is a steel automatic gate, and a roadside entrance lane on Dandenong Road, which is NOT actually a stopping lane. It is marked as a NO STANDING zone. So unfamiliar visitors have nowhere legal to stop while they work out how to get into the place, while I have to put up with ignorant people breaking the law and causing a dangerous road hazard by stopping in a No Standing Zone, every time I go that way. Sebel, you need to rethink your design, and the way you operate. You are an abomination! Do something to fix this, or just close down. Expect further action.

Good location. Can walk to various restaurants. (*Check if they are open on a Monday). Ask for 'Malvern Map' at reception (usually on front desk). We were told (reception) that not many people request a south facing room, because of the traffic noise (road outside). We had requested a south room, but on arrival 'none were available'. Clean room, tv (free to air channels). frig, dishwasher, crockery, glasses, cutlery etc. Also provided: 'Longlife' milk in frig, tea, coffee sachets, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid, tea towel., robes in bedroom, blanket and doona in bedroom cupboard. Bathroom: behind the slim mirror: hair dryer, toilet rolls. Pump soap dispenser In shower: dispenser with various including: shampoo, conditioner, body wash Parking instructions: very confusing! Ask, re-ask!
