I’ve stayed at Hotel Chadstone several times now—always hoping for a better experience, but regrettably, it’s the same issues time after time. I’m an Accor Platinum member, but you’d never know it here. There’s no recognition at check-in, no welcome amenity or note in the room, and overall the service falls well short of what I consistently receive at other Accor properties across Australia. Check-in is always slow. Multiple staff at the desk, all seemingly busy tapping away on their computers, yet not even an acknowledgement or eye contact while guests wait. It’s consistently frustrating. The room is beautiful to look at but the amenities very basic—not at all reflective of a premium hotel. Even more frustrating is that every time I’ve needed to call housekeeping or reception, there’s a 30-minute delay before anything happens. This has been the case on every stay. This morning, I was charged $25 for my toddler to have two small spoonfuls of cereal at breakfast. In every other Accor hotel I’ve stayed at, children eat free with a paying adult, or at the very least are not charged exorbitantly for a few bites. Hotel Chadstone is the only property in Australia where I’ve encountered this. Parking is also unnecessarily expensive considering the hotel is located within a shopping centre that provides free parking for all other visitors. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a great location, which is why I’ve continued to return in the hope that service might improve. But sadly, this stay will be my last. After a particularly poor experience a few visits ago, I spoke with the duty manager, Hazel Dejesus. She followed up by email and invited me to let her know when I’d next return. I’ve done so several times—never once receiving a reply. In short, the property has so much potential, but is let down by inattentive service, a lack of loyalty recognition, and poor value for money. You will see such a review is consistent with others - there seems to be a real issue from the top down. I’d love this hotel to be really really good. But it’s just not.

Booked two rooms for two nights with my four grandchildren. We had two interconnecting rooms. Perfect location for shopping, dining and a night at the cinema. Rooms are big and very comfortable. Special mention to Allan who greeted us when we first arrived. A credit to his workplace.

Stayed at Chadstone Hotel for one night as a Mother’s Day present from my Husband. A great surprise, location is great if you want to shop and eat at Chadstone shopping centre, there is a short covered walkway to centre. We stayed in a room with two Queen beds. We did not pay $40 for parking as you can park everywhere else at Chadstone shopping centre for free so we just parked in the public carpark close by. Check-in was easy ,staff very friendly and very helpful. Room is great, gold handles nice decor. Beds were so hard l think it would have been more comfy sleeping on the floor and the pillows were awful. There was no top sheet just a bottom sheet and doona. You need a sheet as the doona is too hot but too cold without a sheet. Not sure why no top sheet. We were on 8th floor had a great view but you can hear the traffic as soon as you turn the TV off even with the curtains closed. Pool was great and it was open til late which is a bonus. Great stay but for the very very hard bed and the missing sheet.

The hotel did not clean the too , the hotel promised to not charge me and yet they fully charged me and nobody has the guts or integrity to call me including the manager . Please don’t stay here you’ll be so disappointed and better to stay aonewhere else !!!

Beautiful hotel with a few small downfalls. Checkin is a little slow, we didn’t arrive at peak time either. There wasn’t a staff member always present in the driveway area, so hard to know where to stop/unload/park etc. We did valet for one of our cars, one morning we waited for half an hour for someone to bring our car up, would have been nice to be informed rather than standing out the front with 3 kids. We booked 2 rooms interconnecting, when we checked in, they said we had 2 rooms on the same floor but not connected. I said that wouldn’t suit as we weee a family, they managed to get us interconnecting rooms but it had to be authorised by a manager. When we got to our rooms, one bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly. The rooms themselves are stunning, comfy beds, lovely day bed chair. The pool area is good, the view is amazing!! it gets very busy, and there aren’t many chairs so we actually had to sit on the floor one visit (it was a long weekend so was very busy!!) Food from room service was good, it arrived quickly, quite expensive so we opted to not utilise this more than once. Housekeeping only cleaned one of our rooms one of the days; we had to call and request them to come back to clean. The location is amazing if you love shopping! So quick and easy to get into chadstone. Despite the downfalls, I would definitely revisit, but wouldn’t do so during peak times like holidays and long weekends!
