The hotel stay was good and the decor was awesome the only BIG LETDOWN was the buffet breakfast. -had to wait about 15mins for a table -coffee took about 30mins -pastries were like rubber -omelette was raw in the middle We just left mid plate and went to a cafe in the shopping centre for breakfast. We might come back to the hotel again but not the restaurant.

Frequent hotel visiotor. Room smelt like paint. Bedroom phone was near useless - barely anyone every answering a call. Kids in Pool & spa after 9:00pm. No cut off time. I understand the odd hotel doesn't, but this hotel is located next to Chadstone District... Buffet was horrendous!!!! Was seated on a dirty chair. Food was mostly stale & foul. Got told it's a 1 hr seating on arrival, ordered coffee.. 40 minutes, multiple staff, & finally got my coffee. Coffee was yuk. Hotel stay was pretty good otherwise. Ticked all the boxes as you'd expect from a 5 star establishment but just felt like massive oversite on the basics.

We stayed for two nights for my birthday. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and I was so impressed with the beautiful birthday dessert plate I received on checking in. It was such a lovely touch. Our room was spacious and elegant with everything we needed. The buffet breakfast was delicious however breakfasts could get very busy with a long queue at times but the friendly staff tried their best to ensure the wait wasn’t long. The rooftop pool is absolutely gorgeous but not a place for relaxation when there are young children jumping in and running around. The hotel is in the perfect location with a short stroll to some of the best shops in Melbourne at Chadstone. The high tea at Altus was absolutely amazing and beyond my expectations

Our stay, apart from our initial check in, was excellent. All other staff went above and beyond our expectations.The meals at night I had delivered to my room as I was recovering from a short stay in hospital were just delicious! The king size bed was extremely comfortable.I really enjoyed the stay. I have already recommended to my friends.

I came to meet with friends at this hotel and asked reception if we can have a quiet room / restaurant to catch up at. The response was we sell meeting rooms by the hour. How would you like to pay? While not the response I was after, I asked if they have a cafe in house ect.. but response was they do in room dining only. I then said should we go to the food court at Chadstone Shopping Centre and the response was yes. No recommendation or attempt to help. Rather rude staff with no effort to even try to assist. No other customers around so reception was not even in a hurry.
