Great experience with the hotel and flight package. Dinner, Breakfasts, staff and accommodation were first class. Better signage on dietary options for the breakfast buffet & the self parking rates are steep.

Room not cleaned properly, or the bar seating area. Mentioned to reception about my room not being cleaned properly at around 8am and was assured it would be sorted. Came back to room at 2pm, room serviced but not cleaned. Beer glass still in the room 3 days after using it. Room service trays left in the corridor for over 24 hours. Corridors rarely, if ever hoovered in the 9 days I was there. Attention to customer service is poor. Plenty of staff behind the bar when busy, but they are very good at looking busy without actually doing anything like asking if there is anything they can do for you. If you ask them, they will serve you. Paid for express service on laundry. Item collected at my room at 9am, by 4pm still not received back. Called reception and it arrived 10 minutes later; over 3hrs late. If I hadn’t called reception, God only knows when it would have turned up. I have been credited for the express part of the service. Breakfast Buffet style, which is okay. The only problem is that you put the warming food on your cold plate, and by the time you get back to your table the food is barely warm. Stick to fruit and cereal if you want a decent breakfast. Nowhere near the 5 star hotel it claims to be. Ps. The problem with this site is that management will respond to a review refuting reviews of bad service etc and there is no right to reply, don’t believe the management response if they claim that none of this happened or is true. If you look at my review history most of them are positive.

Christmas lunch not up to scratch

We had our Christmas lunch 2025 at this venue. Very disappointing! Let me start of with the venue where we ate. Huge grand ballroom. Was not the ideal space for a Christmas lunch no ambience very closed in No windows. Food was placed in Foyer Infront of ballroom area Food not up to scratch. Okay huge spread. However found the carvery section meat lukewarm to cold !! Placing of the plates right in the middle of the Vegetables and meat station.. it's sooo silly. It should been in the beginning of the Vegetables and other meat dishes. If you stand in the line you have too push back into the line too dish your veggies then get back to the meat station. Just in general the flowing was not right. All the desserts nooo ice-cream not even one flavour. I Saw a few disiapionted children faces. When I asked if any ice-cream available I received a answer and I Qoute by one of the chef their is enough other deserts to choose from. Frankly this will be my first and last Christmas lunch at your venue didn't lift up to expectations. Was not the magic I expected .

First if all i had requested 2 single beds. At check in they had given me a room with one double which was not suitable. With very little communication i was made to wait for a good 20 minutes while they tried to work it out. In the end i was told someone would be up to split the bed in 2. Not sure if this is what usually happens but the twin room was very cramped with basically an inch between the beds. The maintenance man knocked on my door at 6.30am and asked said i had called him which i hadnt. This was very disappointing to be woken up early when trying to sleep. The view was lovely and everything was fine but maybe would stay somewhere else given the wide range of choices in the city.

While I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed the view, I am truly sorry that these issues overshadowed your overall experience and left you feeling hesitant to return. Your feedback has been shared with our Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure improved communication, room allocation accuracy, and guest consideration moving forward. Extremely disappointing stay!

Very disappointing stay, we waited an hour for our room to be ready , when we finally got to the room there was only one bathrobe to share! One teabag to share ! We stayed for two nights and on returning to our room on the second day we found the bed that was supposedly made up looking like a screwed up mess , pillows just thrown on Bathrobe screwed up on the bedside table Cups and wine glasses had been removed but not replaced , still no teabags We rang reception for an ice bucket so that we could have a wine whilst getting ready to go to a concert. It took 1.5 hours to arrive We complained to management who offered us a $50 voucher for room service , we ordered when we returned from the concert again waited an hour for it to arrive , to find that it was stone cold ! Never again !!!
