The room was fantastic. The gym is industry standard although a little small. The breakfast food was disappointing as the hash browns were cold every day, the bacon was only just lukewarm and was very greasy and the scrambled eggs were cold every morning. The sausages were only just lukewarm.

I stay in multiple hotels throughout Australia, New Zealand and Fiji every month. Mantra Albury has some of the most friendly and helpful staff I have come across so far. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The dining area was very nice and also had friendly and welcoming staff. That being said the biggest let down for me is the bed. When I book a room that says "king bed" in the room description, I expect a king bed. And not 3/4 beds pushed together. This creates an extremely uncomfortable ridge down the middle of the bed and becomes rather annoying. It also presents as being falsely advertised and can make the difference over future booking decisions. Secondly, I completely understand the need to preserve water and reduce wastage. But the water pressure within the showers is abysmal. Like I previously stated, I regularly stay at between 2 and 3 different hotels a month, and the Mantra Hotel in Albury has had the worst water pressure I have every had in a shower. As I said, I do completely understand the need to lower water usage and completely agree with it, but I found it to be far too extreme at Mantra Albury. Unfortunately these 2 items turned a rather pleasant experience into a rather average one. The biggest decision factor when booking a hotel for business travel reasons is the quality of sleep you get. And unfortunately the bed rather let that down. I woke up feeling sore and uncomfortable. Please advertise the rooms correctly in future and if it is stated as a king bed, ensure this is the case. Once again though, compliments to your lovely staff. They genuinely are the reason I didnt give a lower rating on the feedback score.
