I stayed here overnight for a work trip. I booked a room with a king bed. It comprised two king singles that were merged together. They didnt put a matress topper on top so the bed sagged in the middle and made an uncomfortable nights sleep. Also my toilet stopped working (no running water) in the morning and was not fixed in time for checkout, which I found very inconvenient.

Very clean. Not enough coffee, sugar, milk etc for a two night stay. Nails were protruding from where carpet joins the tiled area, and we both stepped on them several times. We were also disappointed that the 10% discount on food did not apply unless you charged it to our room. We took our nephew and his family to dinner at Sharks on the Saturday night and spent a substantial amount there on food and drinks and wanted to pay there and then. Needless to say that 10% would have been well appreciated. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and were close to family there.

Rae on the front desk was lovely and very helpful. She offered us a good deal that they had on offer at the time, which was better than what we found on the internet. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the club and the food was great, with lots of different choices. It was a very pleasant stay. We will definitely go there again.

Check in ok. No acknowledgment of Accor membership Advised that 2 food outlets offered the Accor dining discount while all others were 10% No welcome water bottles provided in the room (every other Accor hotel we gave stayed at usually provides this) No upgrade provided even though all rooms still available to book online & Accor app Room ok, basic standard Only water available to purchase in mini bar The breakfast experience turned an average stay into a disappointment... No staff at desk and none on sight Waited patiently before seating ourselves After a while a staff member approached us and questioned us regarding if we were staying at the hotel We were given the impression that she thought we were stealing breakfast.. We asked if the Accor dining discount was available and received a flat “no” and no further explanation No information was also provided about the layout of the buffet All food except the pots of yoghurt were extremely disappointing. We ended up leaving and purchasing breakfast elsewhere. We understand that the sharks club is separate from the mantra however when we have stayed at the mecure Gladstone the setup is similar, and they provided a quality breakfast with the Accor dining discount.

The staff were most helpful and made a stressful time much easier. The only "complaint" I would have is that the instructions for using the card were confusing for people in the lift who aren't used to this technology. Instructions are on the back of the card but perhaps a sign on the lift wall would help too.

It's been over a week since my stay and I still haven't been refunded my $100 holding fee, answers via email are really unsatisfactory, will not be choosing to stay here again
