Excellent central hotel. Right on Surfers Paradise Beach

We stayed at this hotel for the Gold Coast 500. The facilities are excellent and the staff very helpful. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite facing the ocean. Beautiful views to sea and up and down the coast. The room was excellent and very roomy. With a large balcony. The hotel has many nice restaurants at street level. 15 second walk to Surfers Paradise Beach. And 3 minutes walk to Cavill Avenue. 10 min walk to the nearest tram stop and supermarket. Would recommend this place as a great place to stay.

Absolutely remarkable.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. Stayed on the 54th floor - the view was breathtaking. The balcony was huge and provided a view that stretched from the sea to the hinterland. We were watching whales from the balcony, and watching helicopters and little planes fly below us. The location is perfect, right above Cavill Ave, and a step away from the beach with no traffic on the road below. The room was quiet, we had no issue with noise once the sliding doors were closed. Check-in and check-out was a quick easy process. Room had everything we needed, washer/dryer, microwave, fridge/freezer and toaster. The fridge had a water tap and ice-maker which meant we didn't have to worry about buying bottled water. Daily service, fresh towels, dishwasher put on, and bed made every day - the cleaning girls did a great job. The outdoor pool was closed for our first couple of days, but once opened it was great. The lifts were quick, three only go to the first 39 floors, the other three only go to the top floors, so you're not stopping at lots of floors. We will be back. Absolutely loved it.

Restaurant only operates 5 days a week

If staying 1 - 2 weeks then all facilities will open up but if in for 4 days, all restaurant type facilities do not open until Wednesday. If you have a Soul food voucher via booking holiday then it is hard to use. When finally used the restaurant was packed so why not open even day?

Well located

Returned to Peppers Souls after a year and were again very well looked after. The 5 star hotel is centrally located with great views of the ocean on one side and the river on the other. Checkin experience was pleasant with great friendly staff. Special mention to two of their duty managers - Jess and Laura who went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. Both Jess and Laura are an asset to the organisation. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and well presented. The only disappointment was that the outside pool and the spa was closed due to unplanned maintenance during our stay. The management were genuinely apologetic and did few little things to keep us happy. We will definitely return.

Great location but lifts were a nightmare

Great location but lifts were a nightmare. Our room had a great view and location is perfect but room was disappointing. The “spa” bath took 30 minutes to fill as water pressure was dismal. Look it was ok but not value for money and people were waiting 30 minutes to get a lift. Staff weren’t that friendly either - we’d book QT next time
