Unfortunately, there was a black out and we are not able to check in at 2 pm. The room is reasonable large but the bathroom is a bit old.

Having stayed at Peppers previously on a number of occasions, we returned for an overnight stay to celebrate our anniversary. There was a thoughtful surprise waiting for us in the room, which was a nice touch. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the grounds and gardens were as beautiful as always. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant - my wife's main course was amazing, both of us found the dessert delicious, but my main course was not really up to the usual standard I have come to expect at Peppers. Having said that, our waiter Peter was very friendly and attentive, and took excellent care of us (including our toddler). The buffet breakfast was quite good, although we have had better experiences of that in the past. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay, and thank the staff particularly for providing something special for our anniversary and for Peter's caring service at dinner.

Wasn’t expecting 3 flights of stairs with our luggage. Water pressure in the shower was non existent. TV was small and didn’t allow for streaming/casting like most hotels do. Restaurants and room service close at 8pm which meant we couldn’t get dinner after arriving in the evening after a big day of driving from Brisbane. I have stayed in better 3 star accommodation.
